I've been to Delilah's twice and each time the food was amazing. 1st visit I ordered fish and coleslaw. It was absolutely delicious. Definitely reminded me of my Granny's fish fry. Went again Saturday, and ordered the 3 wings, mac & cheese and fried green tomatoes. The only criticism is, I'm not a fan of the mac & cheese and I wish there was a potato salad choice of side. Whatever smoked or sharp cheese that is used, was a bit too much and it wasn't very creamy. But overall, some of the best chicken and fried green tomatoes I've had in ATL. Hands down. And great customer service. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

I wanted southern Mac and cheese and when searching for a spot, I saw Delilah's come up. However, the Mac & Cheese was just okay. The top was a bit burnt and had a lot of seasoning in it, but it was not super hot when served. The fried pickles were sweet pickles, not dill, which was surprising as I've only ever had dill fried pickles. Weren't my favorite, but if you like sweet pickles you might like these. Now the Fried Chicken really needed more seasoning. The crispiness was there and it was served hot and fresh, but it truly needed some more seasoning and flavor to it. The Mac & cheese had more seasoning than the fried chicken. Not to mention, the corn bread was a bit dry. Overall, it was just okay. Not inedible by any means, but just pretty mid for how pricey it was.

The customer service was excellent, they are very friendly and told us how their food is made fresh with all the spices etc. There is a bit of a wait for your food. Personally, I found the mac n cheese separate a bit pricey but it was on Oprah or Gale's favorites so I had to try it, for $12 I expected more flavor to it so I was a bit disappointed in that. For the main course I got the Southern Belle chicken sandwich, it is a HUGE sandwich however, the chicken itself didn't have much flavor. Everything on the sandwich had the flavor but the chicken could've been seasoned more it was more to the bland side. I want to try them again because they were so friendly and might one day but if it wasn't for everything else on the sandwich it wouldn't have been good.

Delilah's is in a really cool food hall with all sorts of restaurant options. There are also dining areas available so you can sit and eat there. The fried chicken is excellent. The flavor of the Mac and cheese is good, but the noodles are a little too soft for my liking. The collards are ok, they lack flavor imo, they were better with some hot sauce. The combo meal also comes with cornbread that was good.

Decided to visit one of the food course in Atlanta, the Chattahoochee Food court in West Midtown! I must say that the candy yams were the star for me. These candied yams were really, really good and although they weren't like my grandmother, they were definitely a runner up. The chicken was moist and I really appreciate that a lot of times these places have thick dry chicken that make you choke and you have to reach for something to drink extremely fast. This was juicy and it was moist. I tend to like a lot of seasoning on my chicken, but it wasn't bad at all. The greens were good, but that's it just good. I'm not sure that I will get them again. I will probably try for another side next time. The guy at the counter was extremely fun and funny although I think him having conversations took up a little bit of time so the person I was with got a little bit annoyed at the length of time waiting for their food however, his personality kinda overshadowed and that's always a great thing .Keep in mind that this is in a food court so it's not like a regular restaurant where you can sit down and they come and serve you, you wait for your food and then you find somewhere to eat as if it was in a cafeteria in high school I have, yet this is a nice place to eat. It's very clean and sanitize. They have janitors cleaning as people are leaving the tables And there are multiple places to get a dessert. As far as the food I'd say 7/10. You guys go try it and let me know what your thoughts are.

After running a few errands, it was time to eat. Being in the mood for soul food we did a search to find something new to try and stumbled upon "Delilah's Everyday Soul." After scrolling the food images, it was an easy decision on where we would be eating. LoL. Delilah's Everyday Soul sits on Chattahoochee within the shared kitchen area they have inside of The Works; this makes it not only easy to find but provides easy access to parking. To note, the first two hours of parking is free. Delilah's Everyday Soul sits in the back corner and wasn't hard to find. The area is open and clean and has a simplistic design that doesn't crowd the space. Walking up to the register, I was greeted by Amir who was very pleasant and welcomed me to Delilah's Everyday Soul. Though the menu isn't an extensive restaurant menu it has all the key points for a great soul food plate. I love the strategic approach presented by the menu curation. After a few moments of scrolling I decided on the 3 Wing (well done) Half Dinner which comes with Cornbread for $15. After making my decision, I placed my order and stood to the side as it was being made. As I ordered my wings well done, I understood it would be a little longer on the wait time. Amir joked with me saying, "you want burnt wings?" LoL. The area within The Works is not too roomy, however, Delilah's Everyday Soul is right next to one of the patio doors so it's easy to wait on the patio until your order is ready. Once my order was ready, my name was called and I was presented with 3 (three) hot sauce options. Listen, the art of choosing the right hot sauce is one that most restaurants miss, however, Delilah's Everyday Soul understood the assignment and I was excited. Ha!The Food:Babeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, whoever's grandmother made that buttery, thick, pound cake like cornbread made it with love. I'm talking about the perfect balance of corn and sweet with a cake like texture that still has the crumble bottom of pan fried cornbread. Yes, the cornbread alone has me planning my next trip to Delilah's Everyday Soul. The wings were a palate pleasing experience as well. The wings are normal size which I am super happy about as I am tired of pigeon sized wings. They are meaty and even with the crispy batter outside as I requested, they maintained a high moisture level within. Oh yes! This is how you do a soul food wing derived from love and compassion... The flavor profile presents as a well balanced blend. It's not overbearing and allows space for the natural chicken flavor to still remain in the game. From the service, the working ambiance, to the wings and cornbread. My trip to Delilah's Everyday Soul was satisfying, hunger taking, and overall pleasant. Well worth the $15 price point. See you again soon Nana Delilah who has Everyday Soul!!!! LoL.

If I could give them more stars I would. The man that took our orders was so friendly and calm. I ordered the white meat platter and that white boy that said the Mac and cheese was crazy was right. My friends both got the southern belle sandwich and were impressed. Huge portion sizes, you really get your moneys worth
