You want an authentic experience? You'll find it here. Although parking is a little bit difficult and the place is easy to drive past and miss, it's worth a try!! I got the fried chicken with fried green plantains from the typical dishes page of the menu. The dish is HUGE! Easily shareable between two people. My husband and I both ordered the same thing and we wished we had gotten 1 to share. The plate is piled high with plantains and the chicken on top. It's so beautiful the way it's presented. Prices are super cheap ($11 for that plate).

The service was fast and the food was great. I will definitely be coming back. I only wish they had beer.

This restaurant is pretty much the definition of a hole in the wall. Located next to a barber shop that has probably caused dozens of car crashes due to epileptic seizures. Ordered the Honduran grill for two and the horchata. Horchata was tasty, if a bit overly sweet. You receive a very large portion size in comparison to what you pay for. The grill for two was pretty good, but really nothing to write home about. I would've preferred the salsa verde to be spicier as well. Pretty good experience overall. Bonus note: If you are afraid of dirty restrooms, go beforehand.

Delicias Las Catrachas is an excellent Honduran restaurant on Nolensville Rd. You could easily pass the restaurant 100 times without noticing it. We walked in for lunch to some loud music from a PA speaker. The place is a hole in the wall and it was all native Spanish speaking patrons. They have some great chips with cheese and bean salsa. For a meal I split the Honduras Grill for 2. It's massive. It could probably feed a family. It came with a generous portion of strips of steak, shrimp, vegetables, pico, pickled cabbage, plantains, chicken breast, fish, and black beans and rice. Wow, so much food, and everything was awesome.

Good food but bad service from servers. It took 7+ min for our drinks. And never came to the table to ask if we were okay or needed something else.

I ordered the fried chicken and was asked if I wanted tejadas or almuerzo. I was unsure what she was asking me as I wasn't aware that almuerzo meant rice and beans. I'll admit Spanish is my second language, and had never been asked that question before. But I saw on the menu that the dish I ordered came with fried green bananas, so I said tejadas bc that's what they are. I didn't think anything of it. When my dish came I was confused as it was absolutely drowned in sauce to the point where my fried chicken had turned into mush. Everything was mushy and flavorless. I was so disappointed.

Wow...yum! This is the only Honduran cuisine I have ever eaten, but I am a Mexican American who enjoys trying many ethnic cuisines from around the world with a soft spot for Latin American food. The flavors and spices (not spicy hot like Mexican food) used in cooking this feast spoke to my taste buds. It's a good mix of Caribbean (flavors not spice) and Latin all in one. Whoever is cooking knows what they're doing! I have been told you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. If you want the agua frescas, go earlier in the day/eve as they can run out of the popular ones. I am enamored by their red beans and rice mix! It made the whole meal. The place is your typical Latino restaurant in the heart of the Latino area of the city off of Nolensville Rd, quaint, spacious, older tables and chairs, but clean. You know it's good when a majority of the clientele are of Latino descent and usually there is a variety of Latin music playing in the background. The parking is limited to the spots in front of building or across on the side street. It can get full depending on time of day. Service is pleasant and prompt despite usually only one waitress. If busy, it does take them time to clear off tables, but they have a lot of tables. The times I've visited have been when only a few patrons near closing time and when moderately busy on a Sunday. I'm not sure how well English is spoken, since I'm usually spoken to in Spanish. Never fear, because the menu has pictures. Helps me to decide on what to order.

Omg this place is so delicious. I'm from Florida and a GOOD Mexican restaurant is hard to come by. We came here relying on other reviews. The young man told me his 3 favorite dishes. I could not tell you what I ate but all I can say is we got 4 different dishes and everyone of them were amazing and all I can think of since. Please do your taste buds a favor and go eat some REAL authentic food.
