Nice nearby deli sandwich spot. This place was highly recommended by our friend Shirley. My husband and I dined in and enjoyed turkey club sandwiches and Oreo cheesecake. Super fast service and they're friendly. Nothing like the first bite of a fresh crunchy deli sandwich. We ate half since they're huge and delicious and finished the other half for dinner. They're delicious I told my husband we're going back next weekend! Great sandwiches! You won't be disappointed!

From Rancho San Diego to La Mesa and Lakeside, Deli Belly has now open a location in Santee. They are located in the Jimmy's Family Restaurant shopping center. If you are from Santee, you know where that is.Specializing in sandwiches, I decided on the Turkey Club on a wheat roll with added pickles. The sandwich by default comes with cheddar, but you can change the cheese. I also tried a small container of the soup of the day which was the Shrimp Corn Chowder.The soup was tasty, it could of been warmer, and when I say warmer, I mean piping hot. I like to see steam coming off my soup. This soup was just warm, although tasty.The sandwich was very good. I had the wheat roll toasted so not only was it nice and warm, but it was soft too. They put a good amount of Oven Gold Turkey and it was was very flavorful. I did feel the sandwich could of used a little more cheese however. All the ingredients were fresh and tasty. It was a very good turkey club.The lady who made my sandwich was super cool and friendly. She knew her ingredients well too. The deli also offers salads and a good amount of inside seating.

Placed a phone order.. came home and opened my sandwich all the bacon was completely burned. Called them and the girl that answered just gave an "oh..ok" And didn't offer to do anything about it.. just hung up. Other sandwich was decent and the guy who took the order was nice.

Got a recommendation from a friend and decided to stop by a couple weeks ago. First noticed a real clean shop and had great menu options. I had The Spicy Italian and had it on the onion roll, there are several fresh bread options. I remember that it was so good right from the first bite. So much flavor and freshness. I can't remember the last time I had an experience quite like that with a sandwich just from the first bite. Soooo Good! I will be back and you should go in too.
