Can't believe we haven't tried this gem restaurant until now! The food is out of this world good- especially the sea bass, was cooked perfectly and so tender! Best sea bass I've had in years. This restaurant is literally the best restaurant in the neighborhood and best in San Diego we've had for Persian food!

From everything from ambiance to cuisine, this place is everything you could want in Mediterranean food. Everything tastes homemade. Whether it is or not, it's FRESH tasting & delicious! Haven't tied any Mexican food but, I can have that anywhere. This is where you want to dine on Mediterranean food.

I think this is one of the best seafood places I have ever been too! Located off Camino Del Mar, near 14th street, this restaurant had a sprawling decor and is an optimal location for an evening out. The fire pits outside make for a nice night time feel as well as the lights. The overall theme is a nice casual. We were greeted immediately upon entry and given the choice to side inside or out. Our outside table was clean and we were shown a menu with a diverse range of Mediterranean foods. I liked the mix of Greek, Persian, and Hispanic foods. I think it works very well here. Our waitress was very friendly and brought us bread with olives and butter. This was a delicious appetizer and very savory. The bread was very tasty. For the main meal we split a two kabobs combo for $32. I think this was a good deal considering we received a large portion of rice as well as a generous amount of salad. The chicken and Koobideh are absolutely phenomenal. The chicken was fresh and had some nice seasoning. The Koonideh was tender and cooked well. It too had a savory taste as well as good seasonings. Our waitress made us feel valued as customers and did not rush us. We paid and then enjoyed the beautiful evening in the outdoor section after the meal. I think if you budget, and select the correct combos, this meal is worth it! I would suggest arriving early or making reservations to prevent a wait. The restaurant did have ample seating as well as a bar area for drinks. I would return here very great food!

We came across this seaside dining spot in DelMar after a fun day at the racetrack! The restaurant is primarily a family run Iranian/Persian restaurant, but they also have some good tacos/Mexican foods! For me, a combination of Mediterranean and Mexican food is absolutely the best option! This was my first visit here, so we opted for the Persian options and tried the following:Chicken/lentil soup with lemon flavor: it was very yummy!Beef Koobideh Kebabs (beef skewers): The kebabs were so tender, juicy, and flavorful!Eggplant/beef stew: Another very flavorful dish and done right!I love olives, and they served a sampler, which was so delicious Overall, it is a great option for lunch/dinner with a nice view of the Pacific Ocean from inside seats!

This cute place is a 1/2 Mile from our Stay. Greek and Med dining. We went for the best of everything. Shrimp, ceviche, filet mignon kabob, chicken kabob, lamb. We love loved it. And the service was superior. This would def be a place to go thru the menu. Don't pass this one up.

Del Mar Seaside Grill is pretty good. Had a very family run vibe to it but the venue and food were a step up from your usual family run type establishment. We went here on a Monday night and it was not too crowded at all. They had it open to the street and it was a really nice night to be able to see the sunset and watch the game. We had the shrimp as an appetizer which was good but we got whiffs of like gnarly sea smells with it. We decided just to send it and eat it and it tasted delicious but it was just a weird thing where when they brought it over it smelled super fishy. We then got the Greek Salad and the Gyros Plate which were both amazing. Good place, good vibes, good food, I'd come back.

Best margarita I have had in years - maybe ever. I dislike very sweet margaritas and this one was just right. The shrimp ceviche was great and almost enough for two people for a meal (accompanying basket of tortilla chips not shown in photo). Chicken wrap was very good as well. Service was super friendly and prompt.

Mediterranean (mostly Greek) and Mexican restaurant. Reasonably priced. Short wine list, decent values, but were out of one of just two Chardonnays being offered. Baba Ganous ($12, small) was a tasty appetizer. Meatball soup of the day ($14) was light on meatballs and flavor (we wondered if it was a day old). Grilled seabass ($35) with fries and Greek salad was moist and tasty. The tomatoes with the salad were green-edged and not good. Service was speedy with each dish. We ate at streetside to catch the local action. The inside tables were full, including with some large groups celebrating birthdays. The atmosphere is local, beachy, and casual. We will go for the Mexican dishes next time.

I recently moved to the area and I am so happy I found this place! This restaurant has now become my favorite restaurant in Del Mar. Family owned, amazing staff, and seriously one of the best meals I've ever had. I'll definitely be back!
