This place is still fairly new, just opened about a month ago. I was greeted right away when I first walked in. I was meeting my friend here, but they had offer to walk around with me to help me find my friend. The sour cream & onion panna cotta was pretty good! I like the arugula with it. All of the flavor just went well with the salt and vinegar chips. The espresso martini though. I would have to say that it was one of the best ones I've had. I really enjoyed it. It was a nice chill ambiance with different vibes throughout the place. I would like to come back again.

Dined here for dinner 2wks ago with 4 of my girlfriends. I'll keep it short and sweet:1. Food is good, we ordered about 8-9 dishes and the standouts were the truffle fries (so good that we ordered a 2nd round with dessert!), okonomiyaki, and maitake karraage. Skip the little gem salad, mushroom capanelle pasta, and truffle honey fried chicken. We also had the zen garden and blackout cake for dessert - both decent, but nothing to write home about.2. Cocktails are PRICEY, given the tiny glasses they're served in. Everyone had a different cocktail off the menu, which is diverse. A couple of us had a second round, and the small pours for all drinks was consistent. My friend who rarely drinks usually gets drunk from a half glass of wine - she had a dirty martini here and she could have gone for a second, so clearly they weren't strong. And for the price tag per drink ($18-30/drink), you'd think they'd knock it out of the park. Nope - huge disappointment. In theory, all the drinks sound unique and exciting, but execution is lacking and a big miss. In a city full of amazing restaurants and cocktail bars, this one missed the mark. 3. Service is lacking; we had an 8pm reso for a party of 6, and arrived about 7:50 - somehow, they misread the online reso and thought it was a party of 8 and seated us in the center of the restaurant on this raised platform, by ourselves, at a very long table. We only had 5 in our group, so asked to be moved to a different area so we weren't so isolated. Fine, no problem - but then it took 28minutes for a server to come over and introduce herself to us. 28 minutes! I know, because my kid called before bedtime and it was 8:40pm. When we asked the server for recs on drinks - she seemed so lost. She said her favorite drink was something that wasn't even on the menu anymore - then when we asked about a couple others that caught our eye, it was like she was dissuading us from them all (At Your Age - "I mean, it's a heavy, heavy drink, like a meal, so if that's your thing..." or the Love In the Night - "It's a dessert drink and it's got a lot of foam from the horchata...like half the drink is foam..."). I mean...are you trying to get us to order less? If you truly feel a certain way about menu items, that's cool, but there's a way to frame it to patrons without making it sound like the items suck.Last piece - we stayed until about 1:15am, the place closes at 2am. I was seated on the green velvet sofas, close to a platformed area of the restaurant. When I was seated, I had laid down my purse and sunglasses on the sofa. Well, when we left, it was so dark I completely forgot about my sunglasses. About halfway home (like 1:45am), I realized that I left my sunglasses behind and called the restaurant. A man answered, and I told him my name, reso time, and where I sat and told him exactly where the sunglasses were. I was put on hold, then was told it was too dark to look for it, and that they'd look for it once they closed for the night and lights were on. I have my info and waited til the next night - no call back. So, I called back Sat night and spoke with a woman. She said she hadn't seen anything, but would check in the back office later and call me back. No call back on Sat. Then I called back Sunday, and spoke to a different woman. She asked me what my sunglasses looked like "were they bedazzled" because they had a pair they found. No, they were not bedazzled. They were a $350 pair of Burberry sunglasses that I had described to the man on Fri night. My take - the restaurant was pretty empty when we left at 1:15am. Either the waitress or one of the servers snagged my glasses, there's no way someone was seated at our exact table after we left and it got taken that way. Moral of the story - you lost a patron for life. Seems like a "small" thing, but I've been to other restaurants where I've left something as small as a lipstick and been either flagged down, called back, or emailed about the found item. Shame on the staff. Save your money, your patronage, and find a joint that has trustworty staff and better service.

Dearly Beloved is an experience. It's teetering on the edge of doing too much but that makes it memorable. The drinks are as unique as you'll ever find and the space itself is cavernous, ornate, and varied -- certainly not the typical cocktail bar vibe. This is not the place for your classic cocktails. They have some twists on classics, but most of what you'll find is in a category all its own. It is very likely that you will not recognize most of the ingredients in the drinks that you order. The drinks are a Willy Wonka-type experience, in that they are disorienting, curious, magical, and overall very enjoyable. We came here at around 10:30 on a Friday night. Despite being relatively new it was quite busy, most of the prime seating already having been reserved. We were seated in kind of a no man's land, in the center of the space, which wasn't the best for ambiance but not necessarily bad either. The host and our server were both super attentive and helpful, which was impressive considering how many patrons were here at the time. As I mentioned, the drinks here are as singular and experimental as you'll find just about anywhere. We stuck to the signature cocktails part of the menu to get the full experience, but if you're not quite ready to dive into the deep end there is a "curated classics" menu with easily identifiable variations on more traditional drinks. To start, I got the Waiting for the Moon (Iichiko saiten shochu, snap pea infused glendalough wild botanical gin, sirene americano bianco, luxardo limoncello, cheese moon), bright and vegetal, a little citrusy, kind of like a garden in a drink but on the spirit-forward side. Perhaps had some white negroni vibes, if I absolutely had to compare it to a classic drink. I feel like I virtually never get edible garnishes on drinks these days (aside from martini olives) so the cheese moon (tastes like those flaky cheesy twists they sell at Trader Joe's) was fun. While with my first drink I kind of knew what to expect, I opted for a second drink that was much more of a wild card. I ordered the Beautiful & Damned (ritual sister smoked pineapple, amara di arancia rossa, matchbook squash, finochietto cordial, dandelion honey, fenugreek, freeze dried manuka honey), described on the menu as "resinous, complex, boozy". The base spirit is a smoked pineapple brandy, while one of the amaros used is a squash amaro. Where do they find this stuff?? 12/10 for creativity and innovation here. Unlike anything you'll ever try, in a good way.I can't remember the names of the drinks my partner got, but one was not great while the other was fantastic. I remember the first had some chai whipped cream type of thing and was way too sweet, and the second one was like this peanut buttery clarified-type thing that was really fun and tasty.

A whole vibe! Beautiful space with several different seating options. The decor and lighting is amazing. We went Sunday night at a time when the crowd was pretty thin. We were able to pick where we wanted to sit. For drinks I have the smoked fennel margarita, the At your age cocktail and the love in the night drink for dessert. For dinner we split the carrot mochi which was so delicious. Savory Carrot Pillows in a Coconut-Red Curry Sauce with layers of carrots prepared differently. The Okonomiyaki which had this crispy delicious cabbage topping on it. Highly recommend.I had the burger for my entree with these amazing, delicious, flavorful homemade chips. Omg. Try the chips!! Both were great. I felt the burger needed a little more flavor but it was juicy and a great sized portion.Service was great. The chef came around to our table. My cousins went to Dearly Beloved a few weeks prior to us all going together. The chef remembered them and what they ordered. That is pretty amazing customer service!

I will go just about anywhere to try a unique mushroom dish and wound up here! Karaage mushroom bites? A French onion ramen? I liked this place before I even stepped foot into it. The playful menu is executed professionally and more or less live up to their descriptions. However this is more true of the food than the drinks from our experience. The surprising standout of the meal was dessert - their Zen garden desert dessert is delicious. Not overly sweet and every spoonful brought a surprising complexity that had us going back for more. This was on another level entirely and I'll be watching the menu dessert offerings in the future. The space is dark and moody but it has a warm sincerity about it that makes you comfortable to settle in and soak up the atmosphere. Attentive and friendly service. If you were thinking of coming in go and give them (and their dessert) a try.

Design: slays - this is Disney level design for a full 360 degree visual show. Dark forest fairytale Cocktailland. High artistry and opportunities in every section for that stellar Instagram shot. A few elements aren't as spectacular: raised seating puts folks crotches in the lower level seatings eyeline (EEK!), the men's restroom floor is reflective (free show!), and some of the elements will be fun to keep clean and without dust (I'm looking at you feather wall and fake flower ceiling). The edits that have been made on the space since it was @kikisbistro are great- especially the redesign of the doorway/entry, the textured "runner" built into the shiny black floor and the new bathrooms. Cocktails: a small curated menu of alcoholic and non alcoholic specials and a short list of their takes on classics - pricy (one cocktail will get you a bottle of mid tier liquor) and of the four we tried - predominately sweet. Interesting ingredients/ elements are tempting you to experiment and that can be a good thing- novel experiences make time slow down - but I lost the flavors and nuance in the end product. The Soda Pop (NA) is giving Calpico mixed with Ramune. The Two Wrongs has multiple insect elements - but I lost them in the syrup and smokiness. The place is cocktail forward so these are billed as the stars, but the design takes that podium spot. Cocktails come silver/second. It's going to be a pricy night out - and maybe hungover (much seeetness) next day.Food: it's not about the food - but they have some creative takes on things. I lost the nuance in the taste but presentation was thoughtful on many - of over sauced/messy on a few. It's a global tapas take - the list of offerings touches at least 7 countries dishes - but they didn't land as elegantly as I think they are going for ... but its cool, it's only their 1st month open! Location: parking can be difficult and there isn't much else's around to do/see (unless you live right here) as the area is pretty residential now. You can take the brown line and walk a bit, but I think they are shooting for is more of an Uber Black audience. ServiceThe service was very attentive and I assume the many, 'many visits to our table to check in were both because they are training and freshly open.

Cool spot for drinks with great atmosphere ....Stopped in with friends and family on a Saturday night after reading about this place in a magazine article. The inside looks like a bar out of Blade Runner movie and the drinks are very well put together with interesting flavor profiles. We didn't get anything to eat but I'm looking forward to going back to try the food choices along with exploring more of the signature cocktails.Definitely a place to go if you enjoy complex mixologist type drinks.

It's opening week for Dearly Beloved and I had the opportunity to come in and sample some of their amazing dishes as well as their cocktails. The decor is very trendy and chic! I love the art. The ambience of the place definitely picturesque and I had to take a couples pictures for the gram. This group has created an amazing menu where they put a lot of thought into their food as well as the drinks. the drinks are definitely the star of the show with the cocktails being elevated to the next level with a variety of ingredients my favourite dish I got to sample was the MAITAKE KARAAGE. My favourite drink was the shadow laurels. The staff is well-versed in the menu and it helped me pick out the drinks that I wanted to try out. I can't wait to come back and Try the branzino.

We visited during the opening weekend on 6/8 and had an absolutely fantastic time. This establishment truly embodies the essence of a cocktail bar, with meticulously crafted decor that adds to the overall experience. Among the myriad of cocktails we sampled, the 'Two Wrongs' stood out as a personal favorite, though every drink our party tried was exceptionally crafted and incredibly satisfying. The culinary offerings were equally impressive. Unexpected delights awaited us, such as the Scallop Rocher, which proved to be a delightful surprise. We also indulged in the Chips & Dip, Potato Potahto, and my particular favorite, the Branzino. While portions may lean towards the smaller side, they are perfect for sharing, and each bite is a revelation of flavor and quality.I wholeheartedly recommend experiencing this establishment for yourself.

The cocktail experience is another level, and don't skip the truffle fries. Had a birthday celebration at the chef's table and the special event setup they did made it even more unforgettable. Sexy sultry vibes.
