I love Dazzo's. I try to get there a few times a year since I moved. This last time I ordered 3 hot dogs w/ everything including sport peppers, an Italian beef with hot and sweet peppers and a tamale. All were sooooo good. Can't wait until I get there again! You do everything right! Thanks!

My priors with Dazzo's were at Wikiup. I'd always stop on my journeys for water, etc. I never had a dog there.Dazzo's is all about Chicago, Wikiup or Glendale. All I know about Chicago is my Freeland Corner ancestor decided to play wheat futures on the Chicago Exchange with his neighbor James Patten. Patten won the game, left my ancestor broke and used those suitcases of gold to help build a gym at Northwestern University. The Baha'i House of Worship is in Wilmette. That's not Chicago.Dazzo's is an old fashion dog house.May 17, 2023 I finally gpt a Dazzo's Dog. Not any dog, a beer dog. I'm really glad I didn't get the Fire Dog. The Beer The fries were hot and crispy, salted to taste. Ice tea delicious. The table had all the napkins I neededI'm bringing my family back to Dazzo's

We've been going to Dazzo's for over 30 years, probably one of the best hotdogs in Phoenix, I see the bad reviews and I think this is a small little dive, hotdog joint (they don't even have A/C) not a five star restaurant, the food is good it's hot and the people who work there have never been anything but cordial in 30+ years of my patronage,I give Dazzo's five stars

My buddy took me in a couple days of ago because I told him I love old "Greasy Spoons". He has been a customer for a number of years and this is one of his favorites to visit. The old Chicago charm was neat to see in Glendale. The owners are obviously passionate about the windy cities professional sports team with all of the memorabilia (especially the 90's Bull's). We both ordered a double cheeseburger with a small fry and a large 32oz drink. I know this place is famous for its hotdogs, but my friend was insistent that I try their burger. It was decent, not great. Next time I'll definitely be trying a dog and hopefully can change this review to 5 stars. Our order was out LIGHTNING fast and the fries were piping hot, which is a must for me. Their homecut fries were awesome. My only complaint was the cheese on my burger. I dislike plastic Kraft style processed cheese. If there was an option (which there wasn't) for a slice of REAL cheese I would have opted for that. Had I known ahead of time I would have ordered it without. Not the end of the world, everything else was excellent. The prices were surprisingly good. For 2 dbl cheeseburgers, 2 small fries, and 2 large drinks it was less than $25. In today's economy that's less than fast food joints and the food here is far superior. Dang plastic cheese cost them a star. Next time I hope to rectify that by trying a Vienna dog.

Chicago roots? Heck yes...looking forward to finding a great Chicago hot dog, well this isn't the place for it. $4.70 for a hot dog (comes with fries), besides the poppy seed bun, it was really horrible. Was excited about a pizza puff also, outside was burned tasting, inside nice and gooey. One & done for me, a good Chicago hot dog quest continues on.

First off the guy that took our order was extremely rude. At that point I should have walked out but wanting hot dogs for lunch I stayed against my better judgement. I have eaten at Dazzo's for years and watched the food decline into very poor quality food. The French fries were so grease and filled with oil that they needed to be patted with a napkin before eating and they were still horrible. The hot dogs were so small I had to make sure that there was one under the condiments.I will not return to my once favorite hot dog stand!!!!

This place makes great hotdogs. For anyone that has lived in Chicagoland area, the flavor and the taste of their hotdogs is very similar to a very well-known hotdog place nationally called Gene's and Judes's. The Chicago dog there consists of a hotdog with mustard, onion, relish, and french fries. You can get 2 hotdogs there for 10 bucks, which nowadays is a pretty darn good price.
