Daxx’s Crab Trapp

The service is very good. The staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Unfortunately, I just didn't like the food.. I went on a Saturday afternoon, and by the time I got there, a lot of their items had been sold out. The owner offered to go to the grocery store next door to replenish his supply, but I opted to just order from their current options. I ordered the salmon bites with onion rings based on recommendations of others. The salmon was extremely overcooked, and the batter they used was rubberly and flavorless. I think a tempura batter or breadcrumbs might have been a better option than the wet better they used . The onion rings were fine, but the sauce was entirely too sweet. Perhaps this was just not the right dish for me.One suggestion I would make to the owner: use smaller containers. For the amount I paid, I received a decent amount of food. But it was in such a large container that it seemed like I hadn't really gotten anything. Based on the excellent customer service, great prices, and variety of items, I will definitely try this place again. Hopefully my next experience will be a better one.

Good to-go seafood option in the area. I got the $25 special with garlic. All in all, it came out to about $30. Dax did a great job on the seasoning! I'm interested in the fried options. Looking to try a Dope Boy Po Boy next time!

Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon because we pass it a lot and have been curious. Y'all.....make a point to visit this Black Owned business in Decatur. Food is good, made to order and fresh. Salmon Philly.... No words to describe how good it is. Salmon is moist and well seasoned. Don't sleep on the Pablo, a fried shrimp, lobster and salmon PoBoy. Worth the price with enough seafood to satisfy. Well seasoned and fresh!! Wing flavors are fire as well!! Go here, support locally owned black and bipoc businesses!! Owner is super chill and is in the kitchen themselves, making sure it's done right!! 100/100!!!

Deliiiiish!Food: We got the Dope Boi & Philly Salmon sandwich. Both were surprisingly spectacular! Definitely took more of the Dope Boi from the bf. They're both super filling and he doesn't skimp on the seafood. The fries tasted like a less greasy version of Checker's fries. Don't forget to get the yum yum sauce on the sandwich. It is the icing on the cake!Service: The owner, Dax, helped us when we walked in. He's very humble and sweet. Willing to assist when it comes to ordering, and he'll help you figure out what fits your appetite at the time. Tony also helped us. Really polite, gentle giant!Parking: Free and easy! Absolutely awful. I had this place saved for months and I finally decided to try them via grub hub delivery. This is the WORST food I've had while living in Atl. If all the positive reviews are true then it must be a cook change because I did not get what was advertised. Over fried and cooked in old grease + the order was wrong. I ordered steamed shrimp that says comes with potatoes, corn and sausage. Instead I got 20 small soft fried shrimp that tasted like old grease. Everything was fried in old grease and had no flavor. The crab cake was a joke, a mushy mess. Will never waste money here again. Buyer beware. Literally everything was inedible, I'm still in shock.

This place is giving food truck vibes. This is my third or fourth time trying to eat here. Yes, I'm salty because the food looks delicious...however, I'll never know because I refuse to try to go here again. Everytime I've pulled up, they've been closed. Their door states that they're open from Monday-Sunday from 11am to 11pm...lies. Supposedly, they're open until 9pm according to Google. I pulled up yesterday, which was a Saturday around 8pm and they were closed. Apparently they're closed on Sundays as well (I called). After driving 20 mins...hungry as ever...I was upset that they were closed...AGAIN. Too bad I will never try this place. I hope they change their hours on their door because at this point it seems like they're open once a week...and you have to catch them if you can. I hope that they DO BETTA!

Went this evening and Mr. Daxx is super friendly and inviting. Order did not take long to prepare. Food was EXCELLENT and cooked with love!!! Will definitely be back!!!

One wing in with the Peach Pepper sauce on top and I was mesmerized. The cashier provided excellent service and although inside was a bit warm the ambiance was serving nothing soul.

I want to try this place so bad!!! But the hours are not as listed!!! I've been twice the last two days and they were closed both days @7pm !! I'm gonna try again today but I would call first if you're driving from a distance!! Good looks amazing in the pictures & the location is easy to find!

Dax the owner is very cool and the food is off the chain. Fresh hot chicken wings just the way I like them.
