I've never dined in, but I'm a delivery driver, and I had a rather odd experience. I arrived to pick up an order, and they hadn't even pulled the order of the ticker and put it up for preparation when I had arrived. Keep in mind, the people who order online have already bought and paid for their meal some time before. Anyway, the server(?) told me that the order will have to go to the back of the line, and it won't be ready for about fifteen minutes. "Ok I'll wait", I said, and I texted the customer about the delay. No problem. So Far. Fifteen minutes come and go..I check on the order..not only has it not even been started, the ticket is still in the back of the line! I told the same server that this wasn't acceptable, as my customer has been waiting and I don't get paid for wasting time. "Oh we'll get it out in about ten minutes"..Again I call the customer and she was pretty understanding. I waited ten minutes. Checked on the order a third time, it's not even started the server tells me. I tell her I'm going to have the order cancelled then. I get back in my car, contact the customer who cancels her order and gets a refund, and then who should appear at my car window, but the same server with the order. Bottom line, if you want to order delivery from Dave's , it may be a dicey proposition.

I am going to start by saying this was a true 0-star experience, but I'm going to show some love because the woman that served us, although extremely out of her league, appeared to be putting her heart into it. This was our first time here and it was a mess. We got about ¼ from this place and the road was closed, the detour route had to have been close to 10 miles and taken 20 minutes. In our final approach, there was signage at the end of the detour advising that the road closure started 18 days ago and would continue for some time. Here is a tip, DOT or whoever is responsible, how about when you know you're closing a road, you report it to Google, Apple maps, Waze or any navigation platform to better help the flow of traffic.Once here, we grabbed a table. Server asked what we wanted to drink, we advised water. She came back 5 minutes later and asked what we wanted to drink and we advised, "Still Water". She literally walked off mumbling to herself. Get them water get them water". If the place had glasses on the table, all she would need to do is keep a pitcher near by and no one would be thirsty. At the same time, a family came back from the restroom, and someone had cleared their table before they finished eating, so their meal had to be made again. That alone should give you an idea of how out of tune this place was. We ordered bacon eggs and hashbrowns. Now, at 10am, I'd expect all that was sizzling, but it took almost 30 minutes for the food to come and when it did, it looked amazing. Great portions great color, only one issue, everything was cold. at least we waited 30 minutes, I'm just going to assume it sat for at least 15 minutes, nothing tasted good, before we left, we saw other plates that appeared to be cooked to perfection, so it was just clear to me, our server was not ready for the rush. I heard customers asking where the usual server was, but it sounded like her husband had a medical event, so she was out and whoever was covering just couldn't keep up. We wanted to send our meal back, but we would have left hungry, we didn't want to pay, but we didn't want a problem, so Dave's earned a single star review. That solo star is for our server, who really didn't deserve a star, but at least was doing her best despite that not being close to enough. An amazing, overpriced disappointment.

We always enjoy coming here, especially for breakfast. It seems like they have had a lot of staff issues, but bounce back each time.If you come on the weekend, be prepared to wait and they place really becomes a but chaotic, but our food has always been good. We enjoy the times we go here.

Sign outside says diner! There is nothing diner about this place, showed up at 8:50 pm was told the kitchen was closed but i could order a calzone. For 18 dollars i got a pre-made calzone that was cold. I am used to better quality from restaurants no more matter where they are. I will cross daves restaurant off my list. I do not like restaurants where the chef is a microwave. Owner should feel very embarassed!!
