I've always enjoyed Dark Horse Coffee at the other location in North Park it was a treat to see this location in North Park on Juniper.We got an iced mocha here. As far as dairy milks, they only have whole milk, and no fat free or 2%. The vibe is very cool, with neon lights and clean color scheme, as well as an ice cream shop called mutual friend inside the same space.The service was good.

We were greeted instantly! I always love that. Both my kids got ice cream (dark horse coffee flavor) and it was delicious! The only "bad" thing was it was hot in there and small but that's not even an issue. Definitely stop by!

Wonderful and quant cafe + ice-cream shop. Kiana the barista, made me the best Blend333 tea latte with honey. There is limited seating, so grab a seat as soon as you arrive, even before ordering if possible. We had a sweet experience with locals dropping in and out. Baby lights on the ceiling makes for a calm ambiance.

The ice cream is such a treat here at Dark Horse since they always have such unique and delicious flavors. I got the kids cone which the gal offered up with a single scoop and boy was I surprised to learn the cone was giant! She shoved and pushed ice cream down inside the cone before placing the scoop on top which was nuts. It's cool they get to let you sample as many flavors as you want. I sampled the sorbet of the day which is pineapple and blood orange and this Haole Pie which I went with. It had small macadamia chunks and Oreo chunks throughout with a base of vanilla or sweet cream ice cream. So good! The cone tastes so special like it had a swirl or cinnamon or something and it was gluten free and vegan. Most of their flavors are gf and vegan but they do not taste odd, total opposite! The shop is always so clean and cute and they have cool swag or pints for sale along with coffee too. Shoutout to the friendly staff here, they're always so great and patient while I pick out a flavor.

A solid coffee shop where you can also shop for their own beans. My cortado was strong with some bright fruity notes. The instant coffee - I bought it just to try during the busy travel time - was surprisingly not bad at all! Strong, nutty and I enjoyed it.

One of my fav coffee shops when visiting San Diego! I got the mint mocha iced and it was such a great balance of flavors. The guy at the register was really nice and helpful. They always have cool merch and didn't realized they sold ice cream too!!!! Amazing!

One of our fave SD coffee establishments. You can rest assured when in comes to Dark Horse you are going to get a great coffee at any of their locations! Their black coffees are smooth and bright in flavor. Their lattes are so good and never too sweet.

Tried their everything bagel (must try the garlic and herb flavor) and an iced vanilla latte. The service was great and the store was super clean. Would come back!

While visiting a friend in San Diego, she recommended Dark Horse as a great place to go for coffee. I visited a few times during my trip and enjoyed all of the coffee drinks that I ordered. I found the staff to be welcoming, and the ordering process was quick and straightforward. Whether it was an American or an iced latte, I thought the coffee was high quality and flavorful.They also serve ice cream (when I was there in May, they had a themed month of vegan offerings), and I liked their swag so much that I got a great mug as a souvenir.

Stopped by at this Dark Horse location while out running errands. Thankfully we were able to find parking just down the block, though it can be difficult to find a spot depending on the time of day. When we came in, we were instantly greeted by the baristas. We ordered a hot vanilla latte with almond milk and an iced salted maple latte with oat milk, both 12oz. While we waited we checked out their merch offerings, everything from tees and hats, to coffee beans and canned nitro etc. Our lattes came out within a few minutes, and they were spot on! We asked for a couple of additional pumps of vanilla in the hot latte for my partner, and she loved it. Great balance of espresso to flavor and milk. My salted maple latte was really good as well. The salt really brought the drink together, though it was more espresso forward than anything else. Highly recommend stopping in!
