Darcy's Ristorante

Gary, our waiter was the best thing about this place. You know when you walk into a restaurant and you smell a odor that you normally smell in a bathroom to cover it up drain smell, then you realize that's what it was! The restaurant smelled like that and there was no faint smell of Italian food. The bar area was busy, but most of the restaurant was empty. Now let's talk about the food. I ordered beef carpaccio, and a Caesar salad. The Caesar salad was OK, but the carpaccio was drenched in a lemon dressing on top of a few greens covered with flakes of Parmesan cheese couldn't even taste the meat. I tried the meatballs, and what an excuse that was for a Italian food. Not to even mention the Calamar.I WON'T return three strikes, you are out!

Old school Italian. Food is consistent, hot, fresh and tasty! It's close to our home so we find ourselves dining here often. Their decor is old and dated...but the food is good! I love their pork chop - A+Nice wines selection. Friendly staff, plenty of parking out front.

I really like Darcy's. We've been there for dinner several times now and done takeout a couple of times as it's so close to our home. Great italian food with a diverse menu. Every item we've had has been delicious and ample, and the service is typically exemplary. They also have a fabulous patio with views of Pinnacle Peak and surrounding area. If you're looking for great Italian food in the Troon area, absolutely give Darcy's a try - and be sure to make reservations!!!

Love this place. We had a party of 6 Saturday night. Dining room was packed. We couldn't have had better food and service. Great Italian cuisine.

Service was amazing! Restaurant had an odd smell, but not terrible. We got the Alfredo and chicken parmigiana and both were decent! Not the best Italian I have ever had, but pretty solid!

A true neighborhood hidden gem. Excellent management and a friendly and professional staff. Have never been disappointed with the Chef specials or the regular menu choices! Great appetizers and drinks in the bar during their generous Happy Hour offerings. Cozy dining room seating, or outdoor patio with a view of Pinnacle Peak while the weather is nice. Full food service in the bar. Love people watching in the bar and seeing the first-timers totally surprised at how great the food is and what a nice bunch of people they have working there. If you're staying at or near the Four Seasons Resort in North Scottsdale, this is a must-try restaurant!

My wife and I went on a hike a Pinnacle Peak, and wanted to celebrate Valentine's Day a little early. Just two minutes from the trail head. We ended up at Darcy's Ristorante. The patio had a great view of the mountain we just hiked, while the sun set. Gary, our server, couldn't have been better and gave us great recommendations. The food was awesome, the wine was great. Nice Italian style instrumental, music for a romantic mood. Highly Recommend

Sadly, Darcy's has permanently closed. Last day was 4/13/24. We will miss our weekly evening there. Great food, service and vibe.

Be aware of hidden fees like $1.50 for ice in your drink! $1.50 charge for a few extra spoons of marinara!Let's not forget about the manger Tony the married lady to a man, but cheated on him with her assistant lady in lesbian affairs!Then she had ghost employees like her husband who does not work there, but his mom does the books.Tony should never be employed again north of I-10 in Phoenix.

Had dinner tonight at the bar. Have always had great service with the long time bartender Ray. Well now we have a new person helping at the bar and WTF.We are year round residents and go to Darcy's once a week all year, new chick your interaction tonight with us was unacceptable. Who do you think you are anyway. We almost walked out to never return. Darcy's if your business is so good that you can chase people away, more power to you. There are so many excellent restaurants in North Scottsdale that we don't need to spend our money at Darcy's. Don't treat us like you own us, because guess what, you don't. And word of mouth can kill your business. Hopefully new chick you are gone soon, Ray doesn't need a bi___h working with him to run off year round customers.Sorry to have to post a negative review, but I am at a loss for words about Darcy's service.
