Danny's - Chicago

Went back here again last night and the service was phenomenal. We changed up our food choices, my burger was awesome and the pizza was great too! The experience gave them that last well deserved star.

I ordered the Sriracha pasta and although this didn't sound appetizing, I was curious. I was of course happy I tried something I normally wouldn't attempt to try. It had good flavor and it had a nice flavor, sweet though but still a good taste. The Sriracha was a little but spicy but tolerable and I still enjoyed dipping bread in the sauce. Although when I let my elderly mom have a few bites, she did state it was too spicy for her. I mean, I could see the tolerance for myself due to me liking spicy, but not for someone who doesn't like spicy, such as my mom., she was not so impressed. I do like the fact that Danny's is still dark and old school, as this gives it a sense of mystery. I can only imagine what Danny's was like more then 20 years ago. It must of been a hoot. The food is not bad at all, I've had pizza from here and fries, so I am familiar with that part of Danny's, but I never tried the pasta, until this last visit. I like it, I really really like it. Would I come here at least once a week? Probably not, but for a once in a while spot, of course I would. Its very welcoming and I like that, sort of like a mom and pop pizzeria in New York, but we have it here. Drinks are moderately priced for the times, and I definitely recommend them, but again its a once in a while spot for me.

4.5 star food, exceptional. 2 stars for service. It's annoying as a customer when you waited ten minutes for someone to come to get your order and you see 3 employees chatting during that same time. Top it off, my server only came to check on me and my meal when I had 2 bites left.

Idk about the pizza but honey this fig burger will forever give Get the fig jam burger. I appreciate they always add a tomato for me. Make sure to order french fries bc it doesn't come with. Overall its worth the price of each, the season on the fries are delicious and not just salt & pepper. My go to for gourmet burgers close to home. Very warm on delivery. Ive yet to visit but I'm sure it would taste even better fresh out the kitchen. I appreciate that my fired aren't greasy even though they're not fresh hand cut. Ive had some greasy fresh cut & non cut fries, these are perfect on delivery.

We've always had good food from this location. Everyone has always been friendly when we've eaten there or order for pickup. I love how it looks inside now, before the remodel it was very dark inside. There's also an outdoor patio now. Parking gets full around the restaurant but the do have another lot on the other side of Archer Ave.

If your looking for a good spot to eat lunch/dinner at Danny's is the place! I stopped here after a flight from Texas after seeing a couple pictures online. Inside was very clean, organized and Service was great our waitress was very attentive and friendly :)) As for the food it was supper yummy! Got the mac and cheese bites were a little cold in the middle but really didn't mind. This place also had the best sweet potato fries i've ever had and i've eaten ALOT of sweet potato fries. For the main dish we ordered the deep dish pizza and it was very good had perfect cheese to sauce ratio and the crust was unique kinda like a pie crust very good! Overall would definitely go again

Everything is so expensive. A family cannot afford to eat in this place.And whats sad they are so cheap on the toppings. So many better andcheaper pizza places around.

The pizza was good. The salad was very small The tomato soup was really orange but it tasted good. VERY EXPENSIVE!
