My favorite was Cumin Lamb. It's was so flavorful and authentic! It's a must order. We also ordered the roasted fish. The fish was nice. Wish it was a bit more savory. Will visit again for sure!

We came to try the lunch specials. Seemed like a pretty good deal. That said, food on other tables looked better and more interesting. I'll come back to try ordering from the full menu. They handled the busy lunch crowd extremely well. I was impressed. The spicy and sour soup was ok, not really spicy. The broccoli beef was decent. The Mongolian beef had good flavor but was very chewy.

Came here last night. The place was packed which is a good sign. They have a sign in and text system which works for me. Their food cleanliness score is just ok (posted outside on the window) and although the food was clean and I had no issues the pitcher of water on the table looked kinda gross ngl I wouldn't drink from the pitchers. No big deal tho I didn't come here for the water. The sweet and sour pork was great, instead of clumpy mushy balls they were thin strips which allowed for a much better crisp/carmelization ratio and a better taste and texture than most sweet and sour pork's. I really wish every Chinese restaurant did their chicken dishes this way. The spicy boiled beef had a good mixture of spice mixed with the minced garlic and seasoning on top was really flavorful. Shrimp fried noodles hit the spot for my Americanized Chinese taste as well. Overall I found this place better than Tian Fu. Lots of authentic dishes but also stuff for the white folk lol

Very very authentic Sichuan food! I think around East side if not the entire Seattle, DanGui is on the top list. Highly recommended!

Everything was delicious! We love our meat dishes but I have to say the green beans was my friends and my favorite! Cumin lamb is a must get. It's a bit salty and oily but honestly pretty common when you eat out in general. Service was great, we checked in on a busy Friday dinner rush hour and only waited 10 minutes. iPad check in which then notifies you on the phone. The restaurant passed my cleanliness standard!

Good food, a little disorganized in wait lists and seating/serving, overall quick food service, and very sichuan. By very sichuan I just mean pretty much every dish has heavy sichuan 'numbing' pepper in it. I love it as does my wife, but the kids not so much (it isn't really hot, the numbing just makes water taste weird :D)We generally get green onion pancake everywhere we go. This is a pretty standard one but with a little more flavor and oil than others. It didn't come with any dipping sauce though we had plenty to soak up in the dishes. I wish it was the thicker doughier style but I'll keep searching. Family approved. The beef and tofu dish, and the beef noodle soup tasted pretty much the same due to the spices used. Flavorful, kinda oily but that is to be expected. The egg tofu was smooth like custard, but doesn't take up much of the sauce flavor directly. The beef noodle soup was good (again, if you like that flavor) but a chewier noodle or hand shaven would have really set it apart. It was pretty much spaghetti... Though it grabbed the sauce and flavor well so it did work. The last fish was sweet and sour pork, as we tried for something more kid friendly. It was cooked well, thicker meat than in many other places, flavorful and not too thick shell, and sweet sauce. I'd say a little too sweet as near the end of the meal it started to harden into almost a thick caramel but just eat faster!Oh, the appetizers were good! Flavorful wood ear mushrooms and spicy potatoes!

The dishes were all delicious! Portions were huge. Definitely a place to come with friends or family. I was impressed by their menu, almost everything had high quality pictures making it so much easier to know what each item is. So many great options! Service was great. Come check out this place if you like spicy food! There is a big parking lot too.

I recently visited this place couple of times in bellevue and was impressed by how clean and bright the space was. It was so clean that I felt like I was in a hospital! (But don't worry, I didn't have to wear a mask.)The service was a bit slow due to the crowd but that wasn't a bother for me as I had enough time to enjoy my meal and take in the cozy atmosphere.I ordered the boiled spicy fish fillet which was absolutely delicious! The portion size was large enough to feed a small army and it had just enough garlic for my taste. However, my partner prefers less garlic so you might want to ask for less if you're not a fan of garlic. The dish was also just spicy enough for me but could do with less cabbage/bokchoi.The portion size was good and cost-wise it was decent. Parking wasn't an issue either so I didn't have to park miles away and walk in rain

This is now my go to Chinese Restaurant in Bellevue area. They have great authentic dishes, but also really good westernized Chinese food. Which I also enjoy! The service is quick. Like lightning quick. Almost magic! I'm surprised how quick it is sometimes. Friendly to non Chinese speaking guests, as well as kid friendly too. Really enjoy how they can cater and accommodate to everyone! Food is oily. Just like how the Chinese intends it to be! But delicious! Delicious fried rice, delicious fried fish, delicious honey walnut prawns, delicious spicy egg plant, delicious Japanese egg tofu. Menu is vasstttttt! And everything seemed so good. And portions are definitely family style! Come in bigger groups! And come hungry. Or be prepared to pack leftovers for the next meal. But that's always a great thing imo. Always looking forward to coming here with bigger groups. So I can try more things. Nom nom. Highly recommend!

Sichuan cuisine is an over-used and abused claim in the US, to the point that it's lost its meaning. Now when one reads "Sichuan" one does not consider that they'll be eating anything special. Dan Gui can change that.Like the hundreds, if not thousands of times before, I did not expect anything distinctively Sichuan at Dan Gui. Much to my delight I was very wrong. Dan Gui proved to be a culinary delight that I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone with a discerning palate seeking an outstanding meal.To be clear, living in the US, I myself am not experienced with actual Sichuan cuisine. However, if Dan Gui is authentic, then I can instantly understand why Sichuan is so famous, with peppercorn seasoning was so very distinctive and flavorful that one cannot imagine any other way one word use the spice. In our visit we had the braised fish, lamb, and vegetables. I cannot wait to try others when I return.Boiled Spicy Fish FilletCumin LambSichuan Peppercorn
