Excellent flavored BBQ with a hint of wise new ideas for condiments, colors and side dishes. This BBQ is located out of the BBQ Belt worth the extra mile. Choice of marveling for your brisket, their dessert are extra super good!

Very slow. Very expensive and not that good. Brisket was all fat. It is too far off of the highway to be worth it.

Kind of upset that I haven't tried this sooner! My goodness I am amazed at how absolutely delicious this place is. The lady who took my order was very sweet and the atmosphere was very relaxing. For it being 95 degrees it felt great on the patio

We found this BBQ place on Yelp. We are so happy we took the off the main highway chance. You order at the window and sit at clean picnic tables outdoors, under a big tent. The dining is casual, but the food is far from ordinary. The service was Texas friendly, and we will definitely stop here next time we are passing through. Don't miss this!

Great food! The brisket is so tender and seasoned perfectly. I had the breakfast croissant with brisket & eggs, my spouse had the taco with brisket & cheese on fresh tortilla, my brother had the tostada with brisket, refried beans, cheese & fried egg. The complimentary chips & salsa were very good. The fire burning stove was perfect keeping us warm. A great place to have bbq with an awesome expanded menu beyond the usual chicken, sausage & brisket. Everything is prepared fresh when you order.

Damon's BBQ a has BBQ figured out. They offer delicious ribs and chicken, and unlike Heinz, they let you build your combo plate with either or both. The portion size of the two meat combo is great. Their meat is still moist and juicy with Smokey flavor. The pricing is a bit better than Heinz too It's a bit quirky set up, it's really a trailered pit set up next to a few temporary buildings. All the seating is outdoors on a nice porch with big blowers. The restroom is a port-a-potty and the sink is a foot pump operated style we put in temporary work sites. They do have a drive through which is nice when riding dirty back from the woods.

This place is a MUST TRY, even if you're not in the area. Make the trip to Wharton and you will not regret it. The Brisket and the ribs were spot on, sides were excellent and the staff was very pleasant. We'll be back very soon!
