Zato Thai Cuisine and Sushi Bar

Love this place, sushi is always fresh and service is great. The menu has a variety of different options and the Thai dishes are a must try.

We were pleasantly surprised to find a halal place with both sushi and thai cuisines. As others have mentioned, the combo doesn't always stir confidence, but they did an excellent job with both. We had three fried rice dishes (the basil fried rice, Zato fried rice, and the fried rice with fried chicken). All three of them were very well made. Flavors were on point. The panang curry was a hit with everyone in our group. Definitely need more rice with how much they give you. The sushi was decent. Not the best I've had but everything tasted fresh and was well prepared. We had two noodle dishes, including the Singapore noodles and pad thai. The pad thai was a little on the sweeter side but still quite good. The Singapore noodles were good but did feel like the spices were inconsistently heavier in some bites than others. The flavor was quite good though. There are numerous choices for halal thai cuisine in the DFW area but this place was an excellent choice for its casual atmosphere and excellent service. We would definitely eat here again.

Zato Thai Cuisine and Sushi Bar is one of my GO-TOs for sushi delivery! Not only are they fast, but their rolls are always perfectly rolled (never messy). I have had their Thai menu items before which are yummy, but for this order I went straight sushi. Here is what I ordered and my ratings:- Zato roll (6/10)- Sakura roll (8/10)- Spicy scallop roll (9/10)The spicy scallop roll is my favorite... the raw scallop on top is so smooth and fresh. Then it's covered with extra deliciousness and crunch, too. Definitely try out Zato if you haven't before - their sushi will hit the spot!

Had takeout at a friends place from here and it was delicious.We got a couple of rolls, edamame, pad Thai, pad Lee mow, pad see ew, a tofu curry and the fried chicken dish (forgot the name).Everything was very tasty and fresh. I was impressed with the food, especially as it was takeout.

The food was great and the service as well. Had a couple of deliveries from them, always got the food pretty fast and fresh.

First time meeting friends here for dinner and we were not disappointed! We'll definitely be back.Food: Tuna tower was plentiful and fresh. Ordered green curry, pad see ew, a beef dish, and a rainbow roll (I think)? Overall I preferred the Thai dishes, but that doesn't mean that there was anything with it; sushi just isn't as flavorful as Thai.Service: The service was prompt and friendly. Ambiance: Not really any. Clean, but just very plain booths and super bright lighting. My only suggestion for improvement would be to change out the bright LED lighting, or add a dimmer switch, so that it feels a little less like a takeout place and a little more like a sit-down restaurant. Went here on kind of a whim. Called ahead for a large group. We were seated quickly and the orders were taken super fast. The food came out quickly and everything was right. Most importantly, the food was absolutely outstanding! I personally got the red curry and was blown away. Everyone else in my group also loved it. 10/10. P.s they serve halal meat

This place is awesome. As someone who lived in SoCal for 12 years finding flavorful, authentic Thai food in Dallas is a tall order. This place delivers. Have eaten here several times now and tried a myriad of things. Everything so far, from curries to sushi to the Thai fried rice is on point. It's also Halal for those that care.

They have such a huge menu! It could be very overwhelming for first timers. I've tried from multiple categories and have not been disappointed with anything yet. The curries there are awesome!The staff is quick and friendly. It's not a big place, but it seems like most people get food to go, so there is always plenty of seating available.
