This was our first omakase experience and it was incredible! The interior is stunning and so is the food! We did the 13-course option and every piece was beautiful and tastes so fresh. We enjoyed everything so much we couldn't pick a favorite! We also did the sake pairing and the waitress was so knowledgable about each sake we tasted which really enhanced the experience!I highly recommend Yujo Nori for anyone who wants an authentic omakase experience at a much more accessible price point! We will definitely be going back!

I know people seem to think that it's expensive here but honestly you get an incredible Omakase experience. Pro tip 1:If you're here on a date and want the omakase experience, sit at the bar! That's the best way to enjoy the l omakase experience to the fullest. Pro Tip 2:Call if you have a party bigger than 6. Sometimes the app to reserve a table is glitchy and you got charged twice to reserve a spot. The Miyabi ($75) offers 13 wonderful assortment between sashimi, nigiri, and side dishes/soups.If you get the Nori it is a lot higher but with 14 pieces which includes this unique sweet shrimp topped with Uni and subtly smoked salmon roe. (Personally I'm fine with settling for the Miyabi and forgoing the shrimp.)The miso soup is incredible. I think authentic aged bonito is used to get an incredible clear yet rich broth. I could fill up on the miso soup alone. The Chawanmushi (Japanese Steamed Egg Custard) is absolutely mind blowing. It's so silky, savory and perfect in this cold weather. The ice cream itself is seasonal so don't expect it to stay the same when you come back. I was bummed out because their jasmine ice cream and lychee ice cream was such a wonderful compliment after such an indulgent meal. The matcha crepe is very good because they use higher quality matcha. A forewarning, if you're weak to caffeine, this will keep you up! Overall a beautiful experience thats worth the elevated price tag.

We tried the Nori omakase course which come with 14 items including dessert, and were pleased with the quality of the fish, service, and presentation of the food. We had a reservation for 11AM when the restaurant opens, which made for quiet and cozy ambience start to the omakase. We ordered a bottle of Elouan Pinot Noir, which I highly suggest for those who are craving light red wine that pairs well with sushi. All the nigiris in the course came wrapped in nori, making it a hybrid of nigiri and handroll which we didn't mind and enjoyed, but might be worth to know for those who want to enjoy the taste of the fish by itself. We really enjoyed the presentation of several showcasing items such as the chawanmushi (Japanese egg custard) served in a nest of egg, fatty tuna served in a coupe glass in which the chefs spray the gold powder in front of you, and the fatty tuna/uni/caviar nigiri that came in an enclosed ball with smoke. It made for a more fun omakase experience and elevated the celebratory occasion. Tiramisu mille crepe cake was the dessert and the portion was generous and the cake itself was light yet rich without it being too sweet. It was a hit for our Asian palate. The service was excellent by both the sushi chef and the waiter, as they were careful to time the items to fit our pace of eating and having conversations amongst our party. Overall, the omakase experience exceeded our expectations and for $120/person, we thought it was a great deal. I highly recommend especially for any special occasion.

You will never find a more friendly staff than at Yujo. Even the owner will remember you by name if you come by often! Their omakase is very affordable for the dfw area, and I love how they partner with a local ice cream shop for their dessert. I come here waaaay too often. They have other sister locations around dfw that are worth the visit as well!

Went yesterday to the $60 omakase they do on Tuesdays and the food was amazing! The only dishes I didn't enjoy were the egg one and the hand roll (I'm usually not a fan of hand rolls). I ended up getting 12 courses total (appetizer not pictured, it was a seaweed salad). I enjoyed being able to watch the chef as he worked, and he was good about refilling my plate as soon as I finished the previous course. Taking off one star only because I mentioned my shellfish allergy, and he served me scallop for one course. I thankfully noticed and the chef was able to rectify this mistake. Decoration inside is super cute.

This is a great experience for sushi lovers! Attend the once a month Tuna Show. This is an educational and fun experience where a full tuna is prepared in lots of options. This is a Toro Omakase evening. You will experience lots of cuts. Great insights on fish, cuts, and aging.

Visited tonight and had a great experience. We ordered the Miyabi omakase at $75 per person and felt it was very reasonably priced since we enjoyed a majority of the items we got. We also purchased a few items separate from the omakase:- complex: an interesting piece of sushi that was a carryover from when the restaurant was kyodai. - All-in-one: the uni was overpowering and took away from the wagyu. Would not order again. - butter wagyu: like above, the uni was overpowering and took away from the wagyu. Would not order again. My only feedback for the omakase would revolve around the dessert. Ours was a plain coffee ice cream, that we felt we could've gotten from target. Something more contrived would've been more appreciated.

Parking: Located in a strip mall. Free self-parking. Interior: Modern, upscale vibe. Service: Good service with attentive staff. Food: I ordered the omakase and the food was aesthetically pleasing. But for the price, I wasn't really wowed. Drinks: Hot sake paired well with my omakase. Overall: I would probably come back but maybe order traditional sashimi, nigiri, and rolls instead of the omakase. I kinda preferred the previous iteration of this sushi restaurant (I think it was Kyodai?). But if you just want to try an omakase experience, then this place would be cool to check out.
