I loved everything about this place. I am not sure if it is family owned and run but it has that feel. The service is warm and inviting. I had the vegetarian gyro which was so full of flavor. I could have had another. The fries were okay. The food came out hot and the restaurant was clean with a decent space.

Opa! A Greek Delight at Yia Yia Where: Yia Yia's House of GyrosWhen: Friday LunchtimeWho: Just the Dynamic Duo - 2 Greek Cuisine AdventurersOverview:Stepping into Yia Yia's is like entering a cozy Mediterranean haven. From the warm greeting by the adorable couple to the charming blue and white décor, every detail whispers of authentic Greek hospitality. With tables spaced out like islands in the Aegean Sea and flags waving proudly, the stage was set for a culinary adventure.Food:We opted for the chicken skewers and the platter, accompanied by not one, but two delectable desserts. The service was as swift as Zeus's lightning bolt - friendly, efficient, and spotlessly clean. And the food? Oh, it was divine! Moist chicken skewers danced on our taste buds, while the platter offered a symphony of flavors. The only tiny hiccup? The fries, which left us yearning for a rice alternative.Extras:As if the experience couldn't get any sweeter, a kind older gentleman - perhaps the culinary maestro himself - personally delivered our feast. And just when we thought it couldn't get any better, our gracious hostess insisted we keep our silverware and treated us to complimentary desserts! It felt like being welcomed into the warm embrace of a Greek family.Verdict:Yia Yia Greek has won our hearts and our taste buds. From the warm hospitality to the tantalizing flavors, it's a culinary journey we can't wait to embark on again. Opa!

The 1st time we ate here was through Uber Eats, and it was great! I knew that we had to go in and sit to enjoy our meal. We were greeted by the chef Guy, (a gem) and a lovely hostess. The restaurant is quaint and feels like home. We literally ordered the exact same thing we had before and it was even better! So refreshing and fresh! Guy even blessed us with a sweet treat. Can't wait to go back and try something else along with my new usual lol.

How can you not love a BYOB spot?!! We've been to both locations and both are spot on with their food and customer service! I love coming here with a chilled bottle of Sauvignon Blanc and a good appetite! Everything is delicious! I have never tried something I don't like and everyone is so nice! The Greek burger and the original gyro are my favorite! It's an intimate spot but appropriate for the vibe so I love the size because that means your food is always fresh! Well I gotta go, ok now, bye bye then!

My wife always wanted to come and eat here. This place is hidden on the back side of the building as we were trying really hard to look for it. Prices are not too bad for what you get as we did get full off of the meal. I order the gyro plate and my wife the kebob. We ordered the zucchini and also the donuts. I would recommend all of them. The service was awesome as our waitress was very kind.

Terrible customer service. Just called to ask why my meal didn't have the sauce I requested and no one called to inform me. The lady who answered told me they are too busy to call every customer to inform them of their order issues. What a great answer! You are very rude and need to learn to treat people with respect. Thanks.I do not recommend this establishment and hope that you don't waste your good hard earned money over to be talked to rudely.Management you need to train your staff to talk to customers with respect! The lady who is at the front has drove away a good paying customer due to her rudeness. I don't mind paying whatever extra I needed to pay for the sauce and I didn't know there was an option for the sauce to be ordered. All it takes is one person to pick up the phone and inform us as customers and allow us to decide or let you know if you can charge us extra for it. But the fact that I didn't get the option or choice or a call to inform me was bad. This food is dry without the sauce and I have wasted money thinking I was ordering from a well established and responsible place. Guess you workers think because my name is clearly ethnic I don't deserve the same respect as other customers. I called up there to ask to talk to a manager and come to find out she is the manager.. she cursed at me and said I was b*tching and then hung up on me! You are absolutely a horrible owner and person and I pray you get what you deserve!

This is the best Greek food I have found in DFW, hands down! The food is authentic, fresh and has a flavor that will pull you back here, guaranteed! Today was my first visit, but I can assure you, I will be back - often.
