I've had a few Ethiopian spots, but I think this may be the best I've had. I don't even know what not to recommend. For sure get the beef rib though. The place is very nice and clean and the customer service is fantastic. Probably going to be the only Ethiopian restaurant I go to from now on.

Called ahead, but no answer, twice. The lots a bit weird, folks seem to park wherever. Looks closed from the outside, but there are several cars parked outside and the lights are on, it's the lower level. It's a good size space downstairs. Ordered veggie combo for two, salad, yebeg tibs, fish goulash, both spicy and two cinnamon tea. $78.45The black tea has a slight hint of cinnamon, smells more potent than it tastes. The veggie combo for two here looks small. Not as big as I was thinking in my head, perhaps why they give you more injera. The table after us got their food first, perhaps they only got the veggies. Our platter is considerably bigger since we got two meat dishes. The injera basket is out first. A small pile of spongey injera. I like the Mexican themed paper for the basket. Our platter is finally out, it seemed as if we might have been forgotten there for a bit. The fish is crispy, it's overcooked. Almost had a jerky texture to it. This dish needs some refinement. Save your $16, wasn't worth it. The lamb is also overcooked, both have good flavor. The lamb is tough and gristle too. All of the veggies are super flavorful, except for the greens. The cabbage and the beans are both flavor packed. The salad is good, looks like a Caesar, the dressing is creamy, more lemony. Service wasn't there, wasn't attentive.

Not sure why-how this happened, but almost six years have passed since we last visited here. We went back today for a belated V Day dinner, and it was spectacular as usual:beef tartare: spicy with fresh chilis and wrapped pinwheel style in injera rolls. perfectly moist and fresh, a special treat.combo platter: we ask the owner for this every time, and have always been delighted with the variety and intense colors, spices, textures and wildly novel flavors. We got spicy lamb for our meat, and it was tender stewed (with fresh sliced serranos, I think) to perfection.ginger tea: served hot, a perfect drink with the meal on a chilly winter day, fresh ginger zingy on the palate. One of our favorite restaurants in Dallas, we shall surely return in the near future.

The food was delicious start to finish. We got the Yebeg tibs, zilzil tibs, and veggie combo. Service was welcoming. Don't forget to enjoy some ethiopian tea or ginger tea with your meal!

First time trying this place. My hopes where high based on the reviews. My experience was ok. I was expecting more. I drove 25 minutes. The drive is not a problem for good food. I spent over $100. I got a vegetable combo for two it was ok. I was expecting more flavor and substance.Doro Wat- good Yebeg Wot- okGoden Tibs- ok.... After I slowly baked in my oven. It was under cooked and tough. The flavor was there. I was just disappointed that I had to recook it so that it could be eatable. Plus this was the most expensive of all of the items.

This place is 10/10 ! My absolute favorite Ethiopian at the moment. It is never too overly busy so you're able to receive your food in a decent amount of time. The waitresses have amazing personality and will assist you with whatever questions you may have with great recommendations for your own taste palette. It's always 2 of us but the plate is big enough for 2-3 maybe even 4.

This was an incredible experience - both culturally and through the menu. We enjoyed our entire meal and experience down to the dessert and Ethiopian coffee. The food is perfectly prepared, spiced and beyond delicious. I cannot wait to visit again on my next trip to Dallas. The service was quick, attentive and all of the staff is very kind. Highly recommend!
