I have driven past this place daily and regret not finding it sooner! This is the best escape room set up we have been to. There are so many fun turn arounds that really get you thinking. I don't want to spoil anything but this is a fun place and I highly recommend checking it out.

This place is AMAZING and a GO TO for family fun. I went today for the first escape room of my life and hours later, I am still thinking about it. First of all, since we are in COVID times, they do private rooms that are thoroughly disinfected. We were allowed to unmask with our private group while we were in the room. We loved that. We (3 of us) did the Dr. Gene Etics room and completed it with one minute to spare. It was invigorating! There were secret passages and lots of clues to figure out, from word clues, number clues, and hidden things. I totally recommend visiting Xcape Adventures. (We're going back tomorrow!!)

Let me out, Let me out!!!We had a blast trying to escape the "Game Over" room, although we were unsuccessful it was a lot of fun. We had 10 people in our group and at the beginning seemed like we were not going to figure this thing out but we finally started to work together and figure it out. One of the girls that was with us is closterphobic but she didnt seem to be bothered by the room and was a great help...just in case anyone else was having second thoughts about that.We took a group picture at the end that was soon uploaded to facebook....great memories! One of the employees came in at the beginning and kinda explained on how things would go and they do give 3 clues throughout your hour time limit if you absolutely want it. The employee also explained the newest "Pirate Ship" room that is multiple stories that we should look into next time we come. I absolutely look forward to doing this again for my birthday or just an outing with friends. It is a good way to get people to work together in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. Do this!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really liked this place. We (2 people) had never done one before but did Captain Scully. Luckily some of the people who went in with us had been to a bunch across DFW and this place is their favorite they said. They're from Arlington and said they've been across the metroplex. They're the only reason we were able to get it open/complete the room so you could tell they had been to a lot. Regardless it was a great first experience, I'll be back! Also, it's a family run business and the creator of the room was super cool and talked to us beforehand. Tip- remember you have your 3 clues if needed. They helped if we were going way off and help confirm that our hunch was correct.

Having now done over 50 escape rooms, I've got to say Xcape Adventures is still one of my faves. We've done Game Over and Steampunk (both now closed), and Captain Skully and Dr Gene Etics. Though Steampunk is still my fave, we really liked Dr Gene too. What I love about this place is there is ALWAYS a fun surprise. When you do a lot of escape rooms, you start to see the same mechanics over and over, but there's still always something unexpected in each of their rooms. Looking forward to finishing off the last 2 rooms, and hoping they have more room ideas in the works.

I took my nieces (14 and 15yo) who are visiting from Oklahoma. They've been to a couple of escape rooms (so have I), and we enjoyed those... But *this* place far surpassed our expectations and is on an entirely different level. The rooms are super engaging, filled with surprises, and unique puzzles. It's locally owned and the couple that runs the place clearly puts a lot of time and care into the puzzles and overall experience. They're also personable, accommodating, and seem to genuinely enjoy seeing the enjoyment they bring to guests.

It was so much fun! Went with my group of friends. It was only an hour but felt SOO much longer and was exciting. Staff was very nice and polite, and took good COVID precautions.

We went to this escape room on a date night and were joined by one other couple for our escape. The room was created by the owner and not a chain or purchased concept. The progression of the challenge was logical and made sense. The props and puzzles were excellent and had great production value. We did escape and are experienced at escape rooms but were challenged and truly enjoyed the room. We will be back to complete the other rooms.

Kind of a dump. Was taken there as a birthday surprise. There were 5 of us in the group. Three of the group had done at least one of these before and two of them kinda took over, leaving me with nothing to do. Everybody was doing completely different things and weren't really getting anywhere. After a bit, I just sat down and didn't do anything else. IMHO there should not be more than 2 people in a group to play. Will never do one again. Maybe this is not relevant, but as I said this was a surprise and I had already had plans to do something else at the exact time and had to blow it off at the last minute to wqste my time with this. And no, neither activity could be rescheduled.

We had a wonderful time completing two rooms back to back. We completed the Steampunk 2.0 Room with 17 minutes to spare. We also completed The Mission Room with 18 minutes to spare. The theming of the rooms was great. Everything made sense and there were some very unique puzzles. Our team of three had a lot of fun and really liked the little personal touch in The Mission.
