Woody Creek Bar-B-Q

There was this place called Bill Acre BBQ. That BBQ was fantastic but then came Woody Creek BBQ. Best Brisket I have ever had with that fantastic Bbq Sauce. Love the beans and sandwiches. I would recommend this for any BBQ lover.

I usually go to the Springtown location of Woody Creek Bar-B-Q, but this time, I stopped by this location for dinner with a couple of friends. It's located in a strip mall next to a large, slowly dying mall, and the overall feel of the place is a bit dated and spartan.It's a walk-up counter service BBQ joint, which is expected, but they also have a bar, though we didn't see a bartender. I'm guessing the cashier pulls double duty when needed.I went with a simple two-meat plate: brisket and ribs. The chopped brisket was good, with a fair mix of lean and fatty pieces. The ribs, however, were just okay. They seemed pretty flavorless on their own, and I had to slather them in sauce to get much out of them. I always try BBQ without sauce first, since if the meat isn't flavorful on its own, it kind of defeats the purpose. Otherwise, you might as well just have a burger with BBQ sauce. Fries were very good.Overall, it was a decent place to stop, and I'll give them another try at some point. Hopefully, next time, the ribs have a little more going for them.

I was a little leary stopping in after seeing only a few cars in the parking lot, but I came in anyhow to give it a try. The young woman at the front was very polite and took my order, I ordered a 2 meat plate. The burnt ends, sausage, potato salad and green beans. It all came to around $25 which isn't too bad..the meat portions were fair but the sides!!! SMH. I ordered more potato salad because 1 scoop is laughable.. maybe because I got it to go? I liked the sausage better than the burnt ends- mine were not "falling off the bone".. I'd say it's worth a try thought if your in the area. I just left Dilliards clearance.

This place is one of the best BBQ restaurants in Fort Worth Texas. The brisket is so flavorful and juicy, the BEEF ribs (not everyone has beef ribs) is fall off the bone delicious (my favorite) they are huge so 2 is enough for me, they also have delicious sausage, ham and turkey. Their potato salad and baked beans are amazing just like I make them. This restaurant is not fancy but it is clean with friendly staff and decorated with western style. They have a relish bar with all the fixings for a burger along with baby carrots, peppers, pickles, onion and a gallon of ranch dressing. The meal isn't complete without a big glass of Texas sweet tea; bring a thermos because you want extra for later especially on a 100+ degree hot day. When you are in Fort Worth come get some great Barbecue.

Great location outside of Ridgmar mall. The place was nice and it had a lot of seating and great drink options. The food was fresh and hot but expensive, this plate with a drink was almost $27.00

I have travel all over the country and this is by far the driest brisket I've had. I made the joke to my friend that it was aged brisket there for it couldn't be juicy. Great staff, sides are great. I order the 2 meat plate, brisket and chicken. Although the brisket was dried the chicken did not disappoint and it was even dryer, maybe the hot summer of 2023 affected the chicken when it was alive. I had to check my location to make sure I was still in the Great state of Texas. I've had better brisket in California, and I think those hippies don't eat meat!! To end on a high note, order water and the sweet tea is also good!

Thoroughly impressed! We have lived in Fort Worth for 2 years and haven't found a bbq place we liked at all until we tried Woody Creek. I got pulled pork sandwich and banana pudding. My bf got a burger. The pork was so tender and perfect flavored with a nice smoke taste and bbq sauce. The banana pudding was absolutely delicious and i wished I ordered more! My bf loved the burger as well. We have agreed we found our bbq place and can't wait to return to try other menu items soon!

The Food is Great.Service is excellent. All is Great here.Alot of People goes there.It is a wonderful place to go for Special Occasions etc.You get plenty for 1 for 2.This is one of the most favorite place for me.

Friendly staff. Fast BBQ. Lots of extras available. Clean restrooms. Just passing through on a road trip. Would come back again. Good job!
