We had our wedding here last night, 10/7/16. To say it was perfect is an understatement. Wisteria Place is a hidden gem. Peter and his staff take care of all the small details and truly let the bride and groom just enjoy themselves. I had questions leading up to the big day and Peter was so responsive to emails. The natural beauty of this venue was wonderful. So many flowers and such greenery. The food was awesome and we had a lot of compliments. Centerpieces were gorgeous. We couldn't have asked for them to be more beautiful! If I had to do it all over again I'd pick this venue each time!

I was married there earlier this month and it was an excellent experience. My guest kept commenting on how beautiful everything was, and how delicious the food was. I would definitely recommend Wisteria Place to anyone looking for a venue. Peter was great!

I got married here last Saturday, July 18th, 2015, and it was amazing! We had a very small wedding, only about 60 people. Peter was fantastic and everything was set up when we got there! All of my guests can not stop gushing on how amazing the food was (we had fajitas) and how fun the photo booth was. The photo booth attendant was super sweet and tolerated all our kiddos running in and out. The venue was exactly what I wanted, small, intimate and beautiful!! I would highly recommend to anyone wanting an all inclusive venue for a small wedding!!

This place is amazing! Peter Gellert is so easy to work with (he is the owner) and very personable. We just got married there on Saturday (3/2/13) and the event was absolutely beautiful. Peter's staff was so nice and helpful. This venue is all inclusive and includes the DJ, food, flowers/center pieces, etc. We got married outside in the gazebo and it was just perfect. The sun faces the gazebo in the late afternoon/early evening, so it wasn't too cold, even though it was only 55 degrees outside! I would HIGHLY recommend this wedding venue (the capacity of guests is 110, so if you need a large place, Peter's family also owns a larger wedding venue - I think the name of it is Double D Ranch). Thanks for everything, Peter!

We were married in September of 2012 and were lucky enough to have chosen Wisteria Place for our ceremony and reception. For our wedding, this venue was perfect. At first we had concerns about the size of the inside area for the reception (it is a converted house) and the distance (we are from North Dallas, and it is in Mesquite), but it comfortably held more people than we originally thought, the patio made for great seating, and it was worth the distance for the pricetag and the seclusion. We have been to other weddings where the ceremony is held outside and the guests had a hard time hearing, but luckily we did not have that issue here, the area surrounding the venue is nice and quiet.Peter, the owner and manager, is a really sweet guy that will work with you on anything you need. He was understanding and helpful in many ways - when we stayed past out allotted time, two of our guests had a fight, and throughout the normal chaos of preparation. He let us come out to plan several times and didn't mind meeting us after hours. Since we have been married, we have run into him a few times and he still remembers us and takes the time to talk with us (I hope that isn't a bad sign on our part). I can't sing his praises highly enough.Parking is a little slim, but there is extra guest parking off to the side of the road. The changing room is very small and can be cramped if there are many people. I regret not getting more time to set up (my own cheap fault). Our ceremony was outside under the gazebo by the pond, and our reception was inside and on the patio. For our 150 or so guests, it was a great size and layout. This is a beautiful venue, with a helpful and caring staff, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking.

Made our deposit almost 10 months in advance. Wedding planner forgot about us. until we took the time to drive out there (we lived out of state, were having the wedding in Texas for the families). Very unhelpful planners. On our wedding day, the grass was dead, the bushes were dying, we had a single patch of green grass for pictures and that was where the dog decided to do its business. Wedding planner chased off guests 2 hours prior to the 11pm curfew that was set. If it hadnt been for the families making the best of a bad situation, it could have been a nightmare. Definately did not get our monies worth as we ended up making 99% of arrangements on our own
