This is a pretty decent Park for young kids soccer games. There is ample room for several games to take place at the same time. And while that makes the park a very good one for the games it makes it a little difficult to navigate to a specific game because you have to walk through and around several other games to get to a particular game. Because there are so many games going on at the same time it also makes it very difficult to find the particular game you are looking for. But overall I think kids soccer is a great thing and I love that the city of Garland has dedicated this amount of space to the kids playing soccer.

I live by some great parks that are large, well maintained and lots of volunteers and money to keep them up. This little gem of a park has the volunteers and money plus LOTS of people actually using it. This park was absolutely filled with all kinds of groups of people using it. Tons of kids having fun with organized sports and with families. Everyone I saw were smiling and interacting with others. This park even has a small snack bar! The parking was readily available and lots of adult supervision.

Park is nice and surrounded by trees. Great for little kids. Has a climbing area, swings and multiple slides. PokeStop keeps me entertained while kids play.

Nice playground for the kids, but it needs benches to make it comfortable for parents.

This park is the premier park for people who are heavy into soccer. The only other thing to do out here would be to go to the water park that is located right across the street.

This park is clean and well maintained. My nieces and nephews love coming here and love going for little hikes. I love that it is always full with other kids for them to play with.

WINTERS PARK NURSING HOME GARLAND. This is a horrible horrible place. No one cares or listens as you beg for help as kindly as you possibly can. Nurse Tasha and DON Sean doesn't listen and almost caused my dad's his life. For over a week I beg for certain medical attention for my poor little dad. Since his nurse Tasha wouldn't listen to me. I informed the director of nursing during his care plan meeting. She assured she would contact my father's doctor/look into it.A week later my 89 year old dad was admitted into the hospital in critical conditions with kidney failure, abdominal wall cellulitis, and a deadly bacterial in his bloodstream. All something that could have been avoided had someone cared and called a doctor for medical treatment.Dad was admitted to Winters Park from his previous nursing home due to what the state department found out to have been a wrongfully discharge. While my dad was in the hospital hooked up to multiple machines fighting for his life. I revisited Winter's Park to inform the administrator of the negligence and how my dad suffered. The administrator response was, "We get family members who look up illnesses on google and think they know medical conditions. My dad's condition was looking us straight in the eyes and seeing that his urine was FILTHY in color with so much particles in the bag you couldn't see through the urine and it had an odor. Even Dr. Seuss could of called that one.The administrator Fred made it about the family requesting medical help. Instead of acknowledging of his staff maladaptive behaviors. There are very few individuals at this place who tries to make a difference. The ADON she will do here best to correct issues. Nurse Calzy is hateful and treats you in such a cold uncaring manner. The receptionist's Colin is very pleasant. The male techs are nice need more staff to help them do there jobs. But there's a female tech there who was so hateful from day one. She always snapped I guess so that we would not ask her for anything. Tasha dad's nurse was a big disappointment to me because she is a sister in Christ. If you are having issues with your nursing home facility, if the state department isn't helping. Get in touch with your state representative. Contact your legislators. They will file a complaint to the state on your behalf. We need to step up families start writing and informing the government of the neglect going on and the understaffing in these places. We need a change for our elderly. Because someone is failing in positions that was created to protect them from abuse, abandoned, mistreated and left to die.Contact your state officials
