Amazing food! We ordered the Afghan lamb - amazing flavor! Also got chicken plate, comes with rice and side of veggies! In love. The rice tastes so good!!!Good service and reasonable price.We will come back to try Chicken wings and Kabuli Pulao. Highly recommend!

I have had there kabobs and chapli kabob with bread, it is decent. Nothing really to rave about. The service is alright, the lady at the register is a little harsh. The ambiance nothing special

I'll be honest, if great or even just pretty good service is an obligate factor for you, I wouldn't come here. Unless you really, really enjoy charcoal grilled meats seasoned generously and always served hot, in which case do what I do and work around it. This is another classic hole in the wall down to their unique "Moroccan-Style" seating area where you can literally lay back and enjoy your meal.So yeah, the service isn't great. It's not a matter of inhospitality or rudeness, the owners are the staff, and they're also a couple well into their years. Get ready to only order in person, repeat your order details before you pay and then make sure they know whether you'll be dining in or taking out for sure. It's the extra mile, but you'll see why I think it's worth it.Surprise surprise, it's their food. They promise traditional Afghan cooking and on that they deliver. Thick, skewered meat cooked slowly over the fire until it's smokey yet inexplicably juicy, even on their off days they're still pretty good. One of my favorite items is actually their chicken wings, which also get their grill treatment, as well as a healthy portion of sauce and seasoning. Their adornments of salads and sauces are always fresh, so it's clear that they care a lot about what goes out the little window.If you've joined me this far on this rollercoaster of words, then you're probably already halfway out the door, and I applaud you for it. Had a fairly large to-go order from hereTandoori chicken wings amazing Small family platter was ok - nothing specialThe shinwari karhai was an extreme letdown. Chicken was definitely old. Had an extremely chewy texture like it was reheated from prior days. The base of the karhai tasted like tomato sauceAsked about how many naan came with the dishes we ordered and was told 1, so ordered 5 more. Ended up getting more naan with my existing orders and could have gone without the extra, however this wasn't communicated Would need to see extreme improvements on food to revisit.

I had never eaten Afghanistan food but was invited by a friend. I was apprehensive indeed but determined to stay open minded. He ordered for the two of us. lamb kabob and kabuki puloa (Essentially, rice, lamb, carrots, raisins, and nuts). We also ordered hot tea. we chose to sit at traditional table and waited no more than 10 minutes for our food to arrive. The rice and lamb dish was big enough to feed two or three people and then they served out kebabs. I was embarrassed by how much food was on the table! My friend showed me how to use the naan (bread) to remove the lamb from the skewer. It was heaven. The bread was soft and warm and just spongy enough to soak up any juice dripping from the lamb. I ate far more than my share (6 each, I had 7 of them). The meat was so tender, a bit salty on its own, but muted when eaten with the bread. I could eat this for lunch every day. Delicious!

Good food, good portions, enjoyed our meal. Wings were very good and the chicken kebab was delicious.

Best chop kebabs in all of Dallas and even the wings are really great. I recommend this place to anyone who loves that type of food.

Food was good,service can definitely be improved.Atmosphere can definitely need improvements.I am rating this place for the food not anything else!
