For our wedding anniversary we narrowed down our selection to three restaurants. I'm so glad we made reservations for Winewood! I appreciated the attention to detail; the hostess greeted us with a congratulations on our anniversary, and so did our server, Shadd. Shadd was very attentive. He recited the off menu offerings and provided recommendations. I appreciate the way he was patient with us. The restaurant was pretty full, so not only did he provide us with refills on our drinks, but so did another server. The manager (?) checked on us, and I appreciated that. The food was absolutely perfect! For appetizers I wanted to have the Tenderloin Bruschetta because it was delicious the last time I ordered it. Instead, we ordered the bacon wrapped Quail Knots. My husband ordered the side Caesar salad, which was a nice sized portion. I had the Tomato Basil Bisque. Very flavorful! For the meal we both ordered a Tenderloin Filet. I added Parmesan Risotto and Bacon Wrapped Green Beans. That was my first time tasting risotto. I like the consistency; it's a thicker texture than rice, and creamier. Although it's made with cheese, it was not too cheesy. I'm glad I tried it. The green beans were topped with shaved almonds and shaved Parmesan cheese. Those were the best green beans I've ever tasted! The tenderloin was perfectly seasoned and very tender. Delicious! I didn't even get to eat my garlic mashed potatoes because I was enamored with the amazing risotto, but my husband loved his mashed potatoes. When it was time for our check, Shadd surprised us with anniversary dessert: the Brookie! That's a brownie with a cookie in the middle, and it's topped with a scoop of ice cream. Somehow we found room in our full bellies and devoured it. Super good! Although I wouldn't consider this restaurant to be romantic because of its casual ambience, we will definitely return for future laid back date nights. 10 out of 10

Great service. Willing to go above and beyond for all the different allergies at the table and a great experience. The food was good, not great. Especially for the price. I've had five star steak before and this place is aiming for it, but isn't quite there. Not saying this as a critisizm at all, but it's clearly aiming to be something more than it is.

Winewood is a great spot for brunch and I highly recommend this restaurant. It's better to make a reservation since the place gets real busy especially over the weekend. There is a live band inside the restaurant with patio seating as well. There are interesting cocktails on the brunch menu along with a bottle of sparkling wine option. The tenderloin bruschetta and Smoked Gouda Mac were great appetizers. Everyone enjoyed the main course at our table. The steak was cooked right but not one of the best flavors and is the only reason for the 4 stars. The Texas Size Cinnamon Roll tasted great and can feed a large table.Pricing : ModerateWill I return? : Definitely. It's made it to my favorite brunch spots.

4.5/5 Stars ****I've been to the Winewood couple of times over the years but just now reviewing given my recent visit. This review covers brunch.Food - The food is quite excellent. For starters, my party had the schezuan calamari and lobster Mac and cheese. The calamari is fantastic. It comes in "steak" chunks and is breaded differently than other fine dining establishments. The sauce that comes with it is absolutely fantastic. The lobster Mac and cheese is so creamy and flavorful. My party devoured it. The entrees included a sandwich, chicken fried steak, and a prime rib. The entire party thought the food was excellent, especially for the price. Two members had mimosas, pineapple and grapefruit. They're ok and get the job done.Staff will accommodate if you let them know it's your birthday. Service - No complaints. The staff and waiter were friendly and attentive. Ambiance - From location to the interior decor, this is a classy place. Seating is very good with ample space and privacy for your party. Winewood is a good Grapevine staple. No regrets ever eating here.

Came for late lunch at 1pm with mom and a friend. Lunch menu choices were ok, but mostly dinner options. Didn't see a lot of gluten free options except salads. Soup was good, portions were generous, service was prompt and attentive, unfortunately the tomatoes lacked flavor. Bread pudding was gigantic! We sat in the back near the fireplace and kitchen because it was a cold rainy day.

This is not my first time at Winewood, and definitely won't be my last. I will say that I do prefer their brunch menu on the weekends, but this is also a good spot for lunch during the week. A little more upscale than you would expect from someplace like Chili's or lazy dog, and the food is always good. I did think the smoked Gouda mac & cheese was overly rich, I probably didn't even eat half of it because of that, but will take the leftovers with me.

The food service was very excellent. The waiter was very attentive and cared about each table. The rack of lamb was rare and delicious. The TEXAS REDFISH PONTCHARTRAIN was as good as my mother's. Me and my wife also had raw oysters and bacon wrapped quail both were delicious. It was a very nice choice to celebrate our anniversary.

Went here on a weeknight with some work colleagues for a business dinner. It was unusually busy for a Tuesday night. Winewood has a really nice atmosphere, but it is very loud in the restaurant. If you are wanting to have any type of productive discussion, there is not a great place in this restaurant to do so. Whenever I have made reservations there for a business dinner, I have specified that we have a "quiet table" and that has never quite worked out for us. I did notice some private rooms off to the side, but it looked like they were for larger groups. I have also been here on my personal time; for that purpose the atmosphere was perfect! It is upscale but casual and trendy. Our server was Tahreon. He was very polite and took good care of us. He was very attentive to my food allergy needs and made sure that I knew that extra care had been taken in the preparation of my food. Service was good but a tad slow; I chalked that up to how busy they were.We ordered the calamari for an appetizer. It came with a thai chili sauce that was really good. Just the right amount of heat. The calamari was the thick sliced strips of squid, which I personally prefer. My colleagues ordered boring salads for their entrees. One ordered the wedge while the other ordered the steak salad. They were happy with them, so I suppose that's good. I ordered the chilean sea bass and it was excellent. The fish was perfectly cooked and was served with delicious risotto. The portions were perfect. I have also included some pictures with this review of some of my other visits here where my daughter and I have ordered the tuna appetizer (amazing), lobster ravioli (she said that is off the charts good), and creme brulee. You may ask why not 5 stars?? This restaurant is always good...It just doesn't always wow me. It is a solid 4 to 4.5 star place though. Fun bonus...there are always a couple of exotic cars parked out front to ooh and aah over. :-) Bottom line, this is one of my go-to's when in the DFW area.

Sunday brunch, this was a first at Winewood, it did not disappoint. Live music, a fire, plenty of delicious options to choose. The service was top notch and the prices were very reasonable for the experience and quality of product. It's a WHOLE VIBE!!

For starters excellent welcoming staff. We were promptly seated and had a resy. Nice upscale ambiance without being too stuff. Tomahawk ribeye was fantastic as were the Brussels. Julia out server was spot on in being attentive but not overly on top of us. Only minor set back was kitchen seemed a little slow getting food out. Took about 45 minutes. Otherwise awesome!
