We've driven by it a dozen times and needed dinner, so we gave it a shot. My husband and I expected it to be a sports bar so it was NOT what we expected! Sushi at a sports bar. I think I'll pass. I've eaten at Hooters and Twin Peaks, so it's a similar concept, but I feel this one is closer to a strip club than the others. It appeared that they could wear whatever they were comfortable in, which is good for them. Can someone tell me, though, why are the managers of these establishments always male? Just an observation. Being one of only 4 women the entire time I was there wasn't surprising. Most of the men were ogling more than they were eating or watching sports. I felt like I was getting the stare down from the men, too.Our server was like any other server. She was attentive enough without being overbearing, made sure our drinks were full and gave recommendations when asked. I was shocked when she said that the fried rice was their most popular dish. She recommended the fajitas, so that's what I went for. It was pretty good! It had a great sizzle on the way out, the chicken tasted fresh and was perfectly cooked. I was happy with the amount of guacamole that came with it and the refried beans were good, too.

If you're like me, when going to a sports bar, you're really not thinking about food beyond wings, burgers or some appetizers, but Wild Pitch, with locations in Frisco and Fort Worth, is dishing up a serious curve ball to what you normally see on a sports bar menu!Of course, you'll find Burgers, Wings and Pizza, and can get Fried Pickles or Mozzarella Sticks, but the choices go FAR BEYOND that, and the flavors will have you wondering why you've always settled for anything else. Here is a review of some of the items I've sampled:Texas Tomato Soup (GF) - While I'm not usually a tomato soup person, this must be tried to appreciated! It's simple, creamy and satisfying with a depth of flavor that has you going back for more. It's jalapeno and bell pepper infused, and garnished with a couple thin slices of jalapeno. It's served with a few tortilla chips or you can have it with a Caesar or side salad, but I just want to fill a thermos with it!Crab Rangoon - Five deep fried crab & cream cheese filled dumplings that are served with a side of sweet Thai chili sauce for dipping. These are noticeably thicker than most Rangoon I've had, which really makes for a great, crunchy accompaniment to a cold beer, and the Thai chili sauce is an old favorite that is great on wings.Mushroom Swiss Burger - Full disclosure, I don't usually order burgers at sports bars, primarily because they're usually disappointing, but this burger could change my mind. Regardless of the toppings you select, these are thick, meaty burgers, cooked to your chosen doneness, and packed with flavor. The outside of the burger has a char flavor that can only be achieved with a very hot grill. It seals in the flavor while the center remains tender. The Ryan Express - Like it's namesake Hall of Fame pitcher, this pizza brings the heat! Alfredo sauce, cheddar & mozzarella, diced chicken, pickled jalapenos and blackening spice makes this a one-of-a-kind pizza. The alfredo sauce politely gets out of the way as the blackening spice comes in high & tight on your taste buds. The crust is thin and chicken diced small to again let the fastball of the spice be the main attraction. While hot, it's not overwhelming, so don't be afraid to dig in - but maybe have your favorite cold beverage in the on deck circle (too much baseball jargon?)Honey Sriracha Grilled Shrimp (GF) - Eight shrimp served on 2 skewers and served with your choice of two sides. These are plump, delicious shrimp that draw sweetness from the honey, spicy from sriracha and savory from the grill. I've rarely had shrimp this good. These must be waved over the grill, because they were beautifully cooked. Shrimp cooks so fast, that they're often over-cooked and tough, but these were outstanding.Signature Fried Rice - These are cooked to order - and it shows - with garlic butter, onion, soy sauce, egg and choice of Chicken, Shrimp, Beef, Veggie or (my selection) Korean BBQ Pork Belly!! This is truly one of the best fried rice dishes I've ever had. The rice is just right, the egg is light and fluffy (obviously not made ahead of time) and garnished with some fresh scallion, but the star is the pork belly. Savory, sweet and rich in flavor. I could eat this several times a week. This is just a sampling of the great food that is served up at Wild Pitch. If you're a traditionalist, the wings are really good, and they offer many tasty sandwiches, but they also have a large selection of sushi and sashimi. There really is something for everyone, and everything is delicious. You will not be disappointed by this food.

5 star service from our server tonight - warning: this place is like a strip club, ladies wear g string and very little while serving drinks and food. Pass on the vegan sushi but saw the drink menu and happy hour prices are so worth it. Other non vegan dishes looked good but my bf says pork belly bahn mi tacos are the best there.

Went here on recommendation from Google on Sports Bar as I was in the area for work and wanted to watch some soccer while waiting for a friend to meet up with. Shannon the hostess, seated me near the front to keep an eye out. I had not eaten since the night before and was pretty hungry...when my friend said he was running late, I decided to order. Victoria was my server and she took my drink and food order. I ordered the mahi-mahi plate, as I was trying to be healthy that day. I watched some great soccer and my friend never showed up but I had a great time with some great viewing and excellent food and service. I will come again when in the area!

Walked in at 5pm. 4 servers, two leaving and two starting. They all looked at me. No one greeted me, no one spoke to me let alone taking my drink order. Two guys walked in and they got to them right away. They didn't even see me leave. Nope! **** In response to manager. No one said anything to me from behind the bar. And no the guy only responded after I got up. All I needed or expected was, "hey, we will be right with you". That's called greeting the customer. Also, the two guys on my right walked in and got service. It wasn't that busy and since I've ran and opened restaurants for years, I'm aware. Thanks for responding again and looking into it. That's a good thing

Went here for my buddies bachelor party. Got a seat fast and served pretty quickly. The waitress was always close but not interrupting. We enjoyed our time and the gorgeous women. Definitely would come back. Food was solid.

My coworker and I went for lunch. We sat at the bar, which was not crowded. One of the 4 bartenders promptly took our drink order and provided us with menus and a water. Unfortunately this was the last interaction we had with any of the staff. After 15 of minutes with no service we took our business elsewhere. This is a reply to the clueless manager JC. You did have 4 staff members behind the bar. You are completely wrong about us being there less than 15 minutes. If you had paid that much attention to how long we were there why didn't you address the service or lack there of. We ordered water to drink. It was delivered and 15 minutes later we left due to lack of service. And no the bartender was not on her way to take our order, when we left she had her back to us on the other side of the bar. You need leadership and customer service training.

I made a comment about the level of their servers and this is a DM I got from them. Not sure why anyone would eat there given their lack of interest in feedback.

I've been here several times before, but haven't written a review about it. They deserve a good review, bc their food is very delicious! I was told that this establishment is owned by a Korean owner and the some of the items are Asian dishes like sushi, fried rice(must try!)and other items with Asian flavors along with many other items. The establishment is spacious and I love the ambiance(light and airy). I must mention that when during the week, servers were dressed in bikini tops with Daisy dukes and during the weekends, they were dressed even much less, so, perhaps, in generally speaking, it may not be suitable for families with small, underage children(They have a full bar). Me, personally, I go there for the delicious food and the great service. As I mentioned, there are so many items to choose from. I think there are items for everyone for their preference and liking and that's what I like about this establishment. Our favorite items are chips, salsa, guacamole and Queso for appetizer. They're so delicious, there is nothing left after we eat them. FYI, salsa comes warm, so if you like cold, just ask. My favorite entree is their signature fried rice. I like mine with shrimp(you can choose your protein and other options such as extra protein etc)and it comes with a side of Sriracha sauce. It's like the best fried rice!! It's like Benihana/Teppanyaki fried rice with garlic butter, but better. My partner even loves it and he's not much of a rice person, but he takes my fried rice and finishes it! His favorite is beef steak Fajita(comes with warm flour tortillas and rice, refried beans, pico, guacamole, lettuce and sour cream). He said it's so delicious! I love the rice and refried beans! I think their food is very authentic as well like I'm at a Mexican restaurant! Of course, we never have any room for dessert, so I never got to try their dessert, but one of these days, we will. I highly recommend this place, especially, on weekend get together with your friends/co-workers.
