Booked for a party and did not have a good time! The young employees need better training with customer service and explaining the party details! This place is small and if you book a party just know it's very limited space and the host is very unpleasant and rude! You get one hour at a table and when I got there I had to wait to get my tables and then when I guess my hour was up they rushed to get be out of there but told me 25 mins till 5? So I did not get my full hour also the food and drinks came out late and I had to keep reminding them the missing items overall just spend you money else where this place needs serious improvements and not to rush their guest! Will not be coming back here read all reviews before you make a decision to book this place for parties or private events! Also I did notice that they treat minorities different than their own(white)!!

DJ KEPT SCOLDING ALL THE KIDS. UNFORTUNATE experience for such a cool venue. Someone needs to reboot the roller rink.

You have to look past some things but you will find a REAL vintage skating experience here. So much more fun than the newer bright rinks. Old school.

Westlake Skate Center is like that one family owned restaurant you remember from your childhood that's still open. Time has gone on, you and everything else around you has grown and matured, but Westlake is still the same. Some skate purists will appreciate that, while most others would not. I really enjoy coming here, but I can see why most people would stay away from this place. 1) the place is in dire need of a deep clean and renovation. The carpeted walls and seats feel so dirty, the lockers look nasty, and the overall esthetics gives off that "cooties" vibe; 2) A lot of the rental skates are old. If you plan on coming on a Friday or Saturday night, get there early or you might get stuck with the older slates that aren't too great. 3) You aren't going to be treated like you're at the Ritz. Sometimes the workers are nice, but that can easily change once it gets busy or if you become that annoying customer. 4) Like at most skating rinks, there are unsupervised kids falling every where, skating the wrong way, and simply getting in the way. 5) Masks are not enforced and most staff do not wear them. With that all being, I love going to this rink. It has its flaws, but 1) there's a great community of regulars who come and/or work there. 2) It's a family friendly environment (though, song choices are questionable). There are usually fun games for the kids that do not take up too much time. 3) The music is pretty diverse, though it pays homage to the weird skate/techno genre (most people like it, I don't). 4) The culture amongst the regulars is pretty welcoming and inclusive. People are more than willing to help or share different skating tips. I would recommend this rink to novice/intermediate skaters who do not mind kids just want a low-key place to skate. For those of you who skate once in a blue moon and do not own a pair of skates, I'd maybe consider somewhere else.

Amazing spot! We booked a private party and had no issues. It went very smooth and we loved the environment. Jacob was a very helpful and attentive person. The place itself was very well taken care of and great. Definitely will be back.

The music was alright, felt like they could use a better DJ. Had another skater who seemed like a regular cut me off and trip me by catching my wheel with his and sent me tumbling over him. Didn't care for the place enough to want to go back. Very crowded with young kids.

This Skate center was the perfect place for a fun family night outing great service, food, drinks, and music. Make sure you check it out.

Run down and dirty and not improved. Some abusive jerk acting like a referee polices the skate floor seems to have something out for older skaters. Sometimes friendly sometimes not. You have to have cash at the concession stand. Adult night is all pornographic music.

We booked a birthday party for my nine year old grandson and paid over $300 for the worst service ever. The party was for kids and the DJ was super rude. They only had one working skate buddy for kids so some of the kids who could not skate very well were using the wall to aide them and he yelled at them when they were using the wall. When my nine year old grandson went to request his song (which cones with the birthday package) the DJ told him did you read the sign I am not taking request. Sorry if he did not want to be at work but that was part of the package. This place is old and outdated and the service was not good. Please do not book a party with place you will not be happy.
