Western Chicken

My bf and I came here on a Friday randomly around 4 pm, it wasn't busy. He tried the Jr platter along with the Mac and cheese. I tried the chicken tacos and added cheese. The chicken was pretty good along with the rice and beans. The Mac and cheese was bland. The chicken tacos were okay.

Really wish there was zero * option, this was vile food. Everything was disgusting, ribs tasted like sloppy Joe flavor. They forgot the sides that I asked for, did not put the extra cheese or extra sauce. I requested for the enchiladas. Extremely disappointing in this place, will never go back.

Friendly gentlemen behind the counter and an amazing plate of Chicken and Sour Cream Enchiladas. I wish I wouldn't have dropped my plate or I would share a photo (I don't want to misrepresent the delicious food. Despite dropping the to go container, NOTHING spilled because it was over-wrapped with plastic wrap perfection! So thankful for this extra step. I also purchased a chicken salad for lunch tomorrow. I haven't tasted it yet but I was able to grab a photo. Will definitely return and try many more menu options. You won't be disappointed with Western Chicken!

Took the advice of others.......it is better than cowboy chicken and more authentic. I had the enchiladas....very moist chicken, flavorful, right amount of sauce! The place will throw you off a little because it is a defined "hole in the wall", but who cares at this point. The food was good!

Ok ... so yes ... this place is very much "off the beaten path." As a matter of fact, I had to circle the block a few times. And when I did open the door, I almost left thinking I was in the wrong place.But the chicken ... sooooo freaking good. Best roasted/rotisserie chicken I've had in Dallas.Similar in style to Cowboy chicken - but better. Will be back (for takeout this time.)

If I could give a negative star I would. The place isn't busy so when I got my food to go I wanted to taste it first because some places that aren't busy might large batches and freeze them. Not saying that's what they did but the chicken was horrible! The mac n cheese was bland. I asked for a refund and the lady was yelling at me and telling me eating the food the wanting a refund wasn't fair. I literally ate a nickle size of chicken and 1 noodle. I told her calmly that she was very rude and shouldn't yell and point your finger in a person's face. Never going there again!

Tried to order delivery after a long day of traveling. Site says the last order is taken at 9:15. I ordered at 8:50. After waiting, at 9:30 I got a call that the driver was not able to pick up my food bc the restaurant closed. That's just BAD customer service.

This place is money. Traditional, wood-roasted chicken. The chicken enchiladas are fantastic!Grab a glass bottle Coke and more enchiladas than you think. Have a gumball for dessert.
