If you have never had Maharashtrian food, you ar ein for a treat. If you already know about it, this is the place to go!We absolutely love the quality of their food, the overall service level and the general vibe of this restaurant! I love their Sabudana Khichdi, Kothimbir Wadi, Misal Pav, Wada Pav!!!My wife who is more pickier than me when it comes to Indian food (as I tease her that she grew up without the spices and colors in the Midwest haha) also finds a lot of things to her liking! She always gets the Varan Bhaat, if you want something very low spicy for someone!

Went in for the name this place holds for people from Maharashtra back home. Certainly not up to mark. Food quality has gone down over past couple of years. Their kothimbir wadi and saoji uses to be good. Now, will not make mistake of recommending a friend. One of my good friends catered her wedding from this place, horrible service.

This place was pretty busy on a Friday evening for dinner, so it seems like people enjoy it. However nothing really impressed me.The food was alright, the servers were nice, decor was good and overall a so-so place. It's a simple concept w traditional dishes, but nothing really scream's amazing.

Went in for a weekend buffet. Good spread of mostly Maharashtrian dishes with a few "North Indian Dishes". I focused on the Maharashtrian items and really enjoyed the simple but flavorful vegetables. I had, Saoji Vegetables, Cauliflower, Potato and the Daal. All had great flavors and cooked well. The Kothimbir Wadi and the Medu Vada were good too. The variety of chutneys was impressive and so were the desserts. My favorite of the Jalebi, Shrikhand, and Carrot Halwa was the Jalebi. I believe I make a better Shrikhand. They had Pulao, White Rice, Poori, and Chapati. My least favorite was the Poori. It was way too thick. Overall a good spread though not overwhelming and value for money if you have a good appetite. My wife and I unfortunately do not.

4.5 Stars... maintaining such good quality even after many years. Well done Madam..... small tip, pls put less ajinomotto in chinese dishes, it was way too high. Some Butter up from top will make it the best pavBhaji & DalMakhani in town. 5 stars otherwise and good portions

Yes, have I been waiting on updating my review from 2 star to 4/5 stars. Updating here: I still have immense respect for your brave decision for starting the business during COVID, however, you have really upped your game since the time you have opened. And what a scrumptious Sunday Thali buffet! Superrr yummy!

Having lived in Mumbai for 21 years, Maharashtrian food is very close to my heart and this restaurant did complete justice to it. This restaurant is owned by a famous chef in India. I would highly suggest trying Kothambir wadi (coriander is the key ingredient), sabudana vada (tapioca), vada pav, misal pav and thali peeth. We've also tried other dishes like pitla bhakar and they taste good as well. In terms of the food and taste, this restaurant has been consistent. Now, people would argue but you can definitely try it once (don't completely rely on the bad star ratings that the restaurant has got). Now, the service is a little slow because they are short staffed and in these difficult times I believe to support local restaurants. I highly recommend the food here, plus reasonable prices. You got a good deal

Namaste We were at VKR to eat buffet. The variety of dishes was incredible. Fantastic tasting too. Also they had Poori in the buffet. The pakoras were awesome. Bindi do pyaaza melted my heart. It had the right amount of spices. Kadi was wonderful. I enjoyed Cauliflower soup also. The vegetarian food was so good that it could have given famous Indian restaurants in India stiff competition.I ate a lot. But when I saw Shrikand there, the food in my stomach gave way for the Royal sweet dish. The most important thing, I saw many people doing service there. Not 1was looking at their mobile device. I admire the dedication and commitment to the customers.Hearty congratulations.Best wishes for continued success.

We used to go there often. Food quality went down sharply down from the first time to the last. We still gave it a couple of more tries. They used plastic containers to store hot daal. Their vegetables often seemed either watery or very oily and lacked taste too. When showed the excessive amount of oil floating in paneer to the owner and noted that it's not healthy, he said this is how people like it. The Nice part is it's vegetarian, but, the quality didnt make it for worth it for us.
