Village Burger Bar

I'd come here again just for the fries! The burger was okay (just average), but the truffle shoestring fries and sweet potato fries were amazing.I also like how you order at the front counter, take a number, and then seat yourself. Our food came out quick and the staff is quick to clean the tables when people are done.

A great lunch option in west village. Their crushed ice was amazing and the service was fast and friendly. The sweet potato fries are a must!

My gf and I were craving burgers and decided to stop by for an early lunch side we're new to the neighborhood. On entrance, we were greeted by a nice young lady who advised we could order when we were ready. You order at the counter, take a number and your meal will be brought out to your table. Since it was such a beautiful day, we decided to grab a two top right out front. We both decided to build our own burger with various toppings and share a trio basket. We also ordered a glass of Sauvignon Blanc and a tequila mule. Everything was fresh and portions were perfect. The only con was that the onion rings were cooked a bit too much and were extremely crunchy. To the point that there was almost no onion and all batter. Otherwise, this is a solid burger spot and we'll be back!

I came here for lunch a couple of times now, once meeting a group of 10 people. It's not a huge place but they can definitely accommodate a group that big. They have a lot of options for customizing your burger or you can order from the presets. In any case, between beef, chicken and turkey you're covered. Its self order and the staff is generally friendly.My meals have been pretty solid here both times. Nothing spectacular but it's good enough that i wouldn't mind coming back.

Nothing stood out to be about village burger bar. The prices were very reasonable but for what it was made to sound (the menu hype) I don't think it lived up to expectations. The burger patty was apparently a famous recipe but was not great. The village sauce, their in-house speciality sauce, and their various aiolis were not great. The food itself came pretty quickly. Individuals order and pay at the front so there isn't much waiter/waitress interaction. The place itself was very clean and had homey decor. However it felt like any other burger place. Not a bad experience, but not a particularly special one either. I would recommend trying somewhere else.

This place was better than expected, went in there to watch the football game, they let me try their hazy IpA which was super good and the cheese appetizer was spectacular. the burgers were super awesome too, would definitely come back!

When I get of work late. After hitting 200 covers. I go here to have a burger that's worth the ass kick. They remember me every time I go. We are service industry mercenaries that just love food. I enjoy everything about this joint. I wish there where more of these in Dallas.

Village Burger Bar changed my life. Let me paint you a picture. Today was supposed to be the last. I was on my way to take my last breath and then my tummy grumbled... Conveniently, I look up at what could easily be mistaken as the pearly gates heaven. It was Village Burger Bar! I decide if it's going to be my last, why not give it a try. As soon as I walk in I'm greeted by this absolute angel of a person. She happily takes my order without hesitation (it's just what i needed). I finally felt understood. I ordered the Truffle Fries and the Onion Rings, a meal of my childhood. I never understood love at first bite... until now. The onion rings were even better than my late wife. They had this golden glow to them that made me reconsider my juvenile ways. This was a meal worth living for, and suddenly... I realized this is what life is worth living for. 5 Stars Village Burger Bar. - sincerely a man who needed a good mealps. i miss my wife.pps. these rings make me miss her a little less.
