Vida Bowls

The bowls here are great! The fruits and toppings are fresh and of excellent quality. The only critique I have is the açaí, which is more like a sorbet- is very sweet. I'd like to have more of the açaí flavor come through, and less overwhelming sweetness. That's why I would categorize these bowls more into a "sweet treat" category as opposed to a healthy meal. Nonetheless, I still really enjoy their toppings and make it a point when I'm in this part of town to enjoy Vida Bowls before walking around White Rock Lake. I had the most amazing açaí bowls earlier this year in Argentina, and this place is still the closest approximation to those I've come across in DFW. Vida Bowls has a convenient drive-thru. Just honk for service and they'll take your order at the window. The space is a converted old-skool Taco Bell building on Garland Rd, so it can be a little hard to discern it from the road amongst the hodgepodge of the rest of the businesses in the area. I've only gone through the drive-thru, so I'm not sure if there is indoor seating, but the close proximity to the lake would make it a no-brainer to get you bowl and enjoy by the lake. Overall, really enjoy Vida Bowls and will come here to get my fuel for waking around White Rock.

I just tried vida bowls for the first time at my apartment complex! They had vida come out where they had their sorbet Açaí in bowls and all of their toppings in front for us to make our own bowls. As someone who makes/has an açaí bowl at minimum once a week this was soo delicious! Can't wait to check out the actual location to have it again. Thanks for stopping by!

Vida Bowls has become one of my go-to spots for breakfast bowls! My husband and I love coming here because it's convenient, we always get great service, and the bowls are just really good. With my husband being vegan, and me being gluten-free, they have a ton of options for both of us - we especially love the Vida Bowls and Tres Baese bowls. Definitely will continue coming here!

Update: This is still the best acai bowl I've ever had. Any time my husband or myself is anywhere near the Lakewood/White Rock area, we make a stop at Vida Bowls. It's now a ghost kitchen on the inside of a kids yogurt shop where you head towards the back and order at the window. I always stick to the classic vida bowl. I think my favorite part is the creamy peanut butter, it's the perfect load of protein.

This was my first time visiting the new location and I loved the drive -thru option it was super convenient . I will be coming back every chance that I get! The acai bowl that I ordered was a 10/10.

Love a fresh and healthy bowl of açaí! Vida bowls is a great place to pick up a customized açaí bowl, it's small business owned and they are very good with allergies and being aware of that. The service is great. Know this location is kinda random and you have to head to the back to order and it's for sure a pick up spot.

Came on 2 different occasions between 10:05am - 10:15am no one was there :/ no sign no times nothing good bowls bad service I would really prefer a bowl before 10 if I was honest.

At first I was unsure about this place but after I had it one time I literally crave it everyday, good portion sizes, fair prices, the girl that works there is so nice and I've had it 5 times just this month it's so good!! Feels good to help out this small business too that will improve the area!
