So you're a hipster/yuppie living on the east side of Dallas, bored on a Saturday afternoon. Where do you go? What do you do? You haul ass to the VFW Post 6796 to make the 2 p.m. start time of BINGO!This is a typical VFW - long rows of folding tables, folding chairs, retirees and cheap entertainment. For a mere $5 you can buy into the bingo game; you must use a blotter, which is an extra $1 if you're not already hip to the bingo square. There are 6 or 7 games played over the course of a couple of hours and you can buy booze in the adjoining bar. If you walk in with a few friends and you're not old enough to cash a social security check, the regulars will fawn attention all over you. We had a blast chatting with the regulars, but alas didn't win any money.

Came here for Bingo! I love bingo and everyone was really nice and helpful considering it was my first official time playing without my mom. They had a bar with cheap drinks that had a connecting door. Popcorn maker was going as well. Definitely will be back for more Bingo. Saturday & Sundays at 2. See ya there!

We love our VFW post 6794. It is incredible to walk in and to be welcomed as if we are home. These Veterans are very kind, interested in us, and we finally feel home as a Veteran family. We invite our personal guests every Friday, whether they are the general public or military families themselves. We love the music and the food! WE LOVE THE MUSIC AND THE FOOD. Hope everyone comes out to experience this place.Furthermore, they want families with children to come hang out. The game room is a wonderful place to play a competitive game of pool, darts, or shuffleboard. Come on out!
