Vaughn's Pizzeria and Draft House

Came for the pizza and I was IMPRESSED!!!From NY and we've been going to Zalat after trying a bunch's places in the area since moving here 5-years ago. It was the closest thing to back home - and consistent. I'm looking forward to going back to Vaughn's because I really just wanted baked ziti and they're close by- but we ordered a buffalo chicken pizza, and I was not expecting to be blown away. It had a fluffy crust, it was stiff when held straight, not greasy, it was A GREAT pizza. Our new favorite. I pray they keep up the consistency because I'm excited to have a new place to rely for a good pie.

Wow this is a legit pizzeria. I've tried all types of pizza all over the place and this right here is the best example of legit NY-style pizza slices.First - the place is nice and comfortable. Quick, friendly table service (Oriana, our server, was great). All types of tables, booths, bar, and outdoor tables. The menu has the full range of a whole pizzas, some salads, etc, and huge NY-style by-the-slice offerings including lunch specials. The lunch specials are actually an incredible deal.I ordered a couple of slices. Pick your toppings that range from all the usual options. I chose chicken, onion, mushrooms, and peppers. These slices must have come from a 20" pizza. The slices are huge but not overly filling because in legit NY-style they are very thin and light. Not like a cracker thin pizza, but actually thin stretched crispy but chewy foldable crust with a thin amount of sauce and cheese. Yeah, perfect.I saw Vaughn in the kitchen doing his thing. He definitely knows how to make a great pizza so stop in and try it yourself.

I will not return here!! The owners have left teenagers to run and manage the business and it shows! I have been coming here for 5 years. Today the bottom of the pizza was burnt after watching the multi hair workers eat pepperoni and play on their phones behind the line. I tried Rocco's and it was awesome! The pizza was clearly better. I will continue to go there instead. If the owners don't make changes- they will close!

Vaughns has become our go-to pizza locally. They're consistent in quality and have never gotten our order wrong. My husband always comments on the friendliness when he picks up our order. A rare find these days! We love their garlic bread knots !!! And you cannot go wrong with their supremePizza. The sausage on it is so good - this coming from someone who will never eat sausage on pizza! We do hate that they've gotten pricey but thus is the way of life it seems these days sadly. Thankfully their pizzas are very filling and worth it to us.

Never disappoints. The food is always fresh and hot. Vaughn's is a great local neighborhood Italian spot that always seems to hit the spot. Not pretentious at all. Lots of tables and booths plus you could sit at the bar if you choose. The garlic knots are a great way to start. The pasta dishes are quite large and they don't skimp as are the salads. Whenever I go, which is odd hours, it's usually not too crowded. The TVs are playing sports and there will be a few locals scattered about. This has been my new go to for Italian of late and I certainly recommend to others. There's always plenty of parking.

Great food. The service was on point.My wife and I will definitely go back for more.

Pizza is usually amazing!!! My biggest complaint is they need to clean the bathrooms. My son couldn't even stand to pee because it was so disgusting. It's gotta be a health violation. Other than that pizza is good just a little skimpy with toppings.

We've loved Vaughns for a while but over the last year or so we've began to feel more like a nuisance than a valued customer. The pizza and Stromboli are still delicious but we've got a couple other pizza places locally that offer friendly greetings and attentive care. We've noticed time and time again the patrons at the bar are treated like royalty while the families at tables just seem yo get in the way of social hour at the bar. So 3 stars because the food is great but the service could use some improvements.

We were very disappointed this evening in our first visit unfortunately. We go to the swim school next door and wanted to try out this place next to it. Having a hungry child, I ordered ahead as a "to go" order so the pizza was ready when we arrived. When I picked up the pizza and said we were going to eat in, could we have some plates? I was told that "to go orders are not allowed to eat in." I was shocked but very calmly asked why that is? And was told, "so our dine in customers have tables." I then asked, "is this an issue on a Tuesday night?" To which again I was told, "to go orders are not allowed to eat inside." Unfortunately we will not return due to this. We spent our money on the pizza, we were going to order more food & drinks but just wanted the pizza ready for our hungry child, and were not given the opportunity to do this. We've worked in the food industry, always clean/prebus our tables, like to tip well, and was hoping to make this a weekly stop with our 2x/week swim classes. So if you're thinking of the same strategy for your child like we tried to do, just know it's "not allowed."

Consistently good pizza but learned the hard way the difference between pepperoni and peppercini by ordering online. An expensive lesson.
