Great spot to unwind with friends. I'm excited to bring my family here when they visit. Service is great and friendly. Fire pits and live music with plenty of seating, inside and out. Brian helped turn on our fire pit without even asking. Great dude. They have a cafe inside and the food is pretty good.

A cute, funky spot with food trucks, live music, beer, and cocktails. It's a fun place to hang out, especially with a few people, where everyone can eat and drink the thing that strikes their fancy. On the downside, there's not a healthy or light thing to be found here. Lots of greasy and/or fried food like cheese steaks, burgers, nachos, spring rolls, etc. Similarly, mostly beer or sugar-forward cocktails. So, know what you're getting into, but otherwise a fun little oasis.

We've come here twice now and have been pleasantly satisfied each time. The food truck options change, which is good (or bad, if you REALLY liked the egg roll truck that was there last time, like I did)! This most recent visit had a video game truck and only 3 food trucks. No problem. But the cigar truck that's always there so far is the worst: not everyone enjoys or can tolerate the smell of cigar smoke - yuck.Ordering drinks can be done by getting in line (which can get VERY long) or ordering using the QR code on your nearest table. I recommend the QR code, unless you need to order a super special custom drink.Dogs get free water from coolers around the place, but HUMANS: if you want free cups of ice water... wait in line for bar service. Otherwise, you can pay (a lot) for a cheap bottle of water through the QR code. In my opinion, this is the one true negative about this place: water for humans should be available like the water for dogs. Humans should be able to self-serve water where many are consuming alcohol. Waiting in line to get water also makes the line look longer than it is and may deter people from getting in line to order (we almost left early because of this, but decided to stay and have more food truck snacks instead, and sent one person to go wait in line to get us 4 waters - that person was gone for 25 minutes, it was sad).

Perfect spot to hang out on a nice day. Live music, good drinks and food trucks. I should've went with something from one of the food trucks. Instead, I went with one of their infamous Cheesesteaks. Disclaimer, usually they're amazing. Not the case this time. I ordered from the table, which was probably my first mistake. I asked for no onions and extra jalepenos and it felt like they did the exact opposite. It was loaded full of onions and the meat was waaaay overcooked. The sandwich comes with a bag of chips, but I felt it was weird Jalepeno chips weren't an available option on the app, even though they have them. Weird. Good selection of sour beers, bourbons and fun specialty cocktails. They have something for everyone. Overall, a good time as always just super bummed about the Cheesesteak.

It would take forever to describe the truck yard. I guess the proper description would be like you're at a friend or relatives backyard, just hanging out in lawn chairs... while you happen to be watching a local band. It's a lot of fun. And lots of different places, serving snacks, food, etc. variety of beer places, just a place to hang with your friends in the outdoors. Well, worth a stop if you're in The Colony. I think a lot of locals shop at the mall and when they're done, they come over and have a fun evening at the truck yard.

First time here as I was on vacation with adult son, and we loved this place!! The old cars, lights, fire pits, lawn chairs, food trucks, live music, large spacious area, sports on TVs... this hit the mark! Plus so many beverage options. Bartender outside upstairs bar couldn't have been nicer. And Toilet Seat Museum is a must see to believe! That guy Barney Smith was talented! So glad we stopped by Truck Yard as our last stop before leaving town!

5 star purely for the vibe and atmosphere plus beer. It's a nice hangout place to come with your dog and friends. It's 21+ age restricted after 9 pm, which is nice. They have live music during the weekends. The food here is meh. The rotating food trucks are alright, some good food but really pricey for what you get. The food from the buildings are cheaper but can't say better. I've only gotten the cheesesteak and it was really salty. The flavors were good otherwise just ruined with extra salt. The beers from the bars are worth coming just for that.

I'm usually don't go out for drinks so I won't even try to rate it based on price. A mixed drink was ~$9 and the beer came in two sizes $6/$12The atmosphere is casual with a live band playing probably only on the weekends. There's a lot of different places to order drinks/food, I think all serve the same drinks, and then the food trucks have some similarities with different options as well. I saw some people with dogs so I would assume it's dog friendly. They have corn hole and large connect4 but they only have two sets of bags. I saw others bring their own board games and seems like a good spot to go with friends.

We headed to the Truck Yard on a super hot Texas day so we were grateful to see there were options for shade with the neat ambiance for a late lunch. They had live music playing which added to the vibe. My husband had the Philly Cheesesteak and he added onion, pepper, and mushroom. His exact words to describe was 'delicious!'. I went with an offering from one of the food trucks which was easy to order on the grounds. My Cubano with pulled pork from J&M's BBQ was just as delicious! For beverages we tried a few items: Amber Ale, Basil Strawberry Seltzer, and a half and half combo on the Purple Drank and Porch Pounder. While all of them went down a bit easy on a hot day, the half and half combo was by far our favorite! We plan to head back to the Truck Yard to enjoy live music and the outdoor space and entertainment options.
