Triumphs Espresso & Whiskey

This was my first time here and was super excited to try a new coffee place! Unfortunately, I found it a bit underwhelming. I ordered three drink because I wanted to "try everything". I started out with the espresso martini as my first sip and didn't care for it. Maybe it seemed just a tad on the bitter side or not smooth? I don't know, but I drank half and poured the other half into my iced caramel latte. I had high hopes for the iced caramel latte (which is what I typically drink), and was again disappointed with the flavor of the coffee. Maybe the type of medium roast just didn't jibe with my pallet, but this was hard pass as well. Last, the hot latte with foam art! I'm not a hot coffee drinker, I was only ordering this to marvel at the foam art as I hope to make these some day. As I sat up at the bar, I watched with excitement as they prepared my drink and my heart sank as I saw the barista pour it into a disposable cup and cap it with a lid, pick up both lattes and proceed to walk outside to the patio to find its intended owner. By the time he delivered it me up at the bar, I removed the lid to find the "art" still somewhat in tact. When I asked why it had not been poured into a regular cup, they said they were out of cups and they had not been washed. Ugh! No cup for you!!! Meanwhile, someone ordered some type of fancy drink with smoked whisky that was poured into a glass decanter and corked to let the smoke collect and low and behold, the barista pulls out a new cup still wrapped in plastic from underneath the counter for this drink. Last but not least, I ordered one breakfast taco and tried to order avocado toast but they said it was after the breakfast rush and they had run out of avocados. All in all, the place had a great vibe. Nice place to hang out if you're a fan of their coffee. Plus they have a full bar so alcoholic beverages are also available.

They've updated their website to include kitchen times and I haven't seen the female barista mentioned in my previous review since.I've stopped by for lunch a few times now. I've tried the grilled cheese with soup (both chicken tortilla and tomato bisque options) combo multiple times, along with the chipotle turkey club, orange dreamsicle matcha, salted maple matcha, and the apple pie chai. Everything was delicious, except for the chicken tortilla soup, which was mediocre. The tomato bisque was the highlight, and the apple pie chai even more so.There are still some minor inconsistencies that should be easy fixes. For one, there are some items listed on the website that aren't on the in-store printed menu, and the pricing for the cheese & soup combo was a dollar more than what's listed on the website.

Coffee and Cocktails in the Dallas Design DistrictNestled on a quiet street in the Design District, this bar offers a delightful taste of classy cocktails right in the heart of the city. We embarked on a tour of the best espresso martinis in town, and this place certainly impressed. We sampled both the traditional espresso martini and a unique bourbon pecan version, with the latter being a standout favorite.The bartenders here are exceptional, providing top-notch service that rivals a five-star boutique bar. Sitting at the bar added to the experience, allowing us to engage with the skilled mixologists.Our visit coincided with a night of live jazz music, which elevated the atmosphere to another level. While indoor seating is limited, there's ample patio space available--though the setting might not be the main attraction. Instead, the bar fosters a warm and inviting environment perfect for great conversations with friends.On the flip side, parking can be a bit tricky when the bar is busy, and on our visit, the food options were limited. This could be a drawback for those looking for a more substantial meal, but the overall experience more than makes up for it.

Cute coffee shop. The decor is very eclectic and homely. The server was very friendly and even invited us to return for a live band in the evening. Coffee was not that strong but tasted pretty decent and sandwich was ok as well. Overall 7/10I would go back for the live band and vibes when I get the chance.

Triumphs is weekend vibes all over. I came Friday evening with my friends to catch up and celebrate a birthday. We were just in time because the band was rehearsing for the evening performance. The setting was on point with the dim lit bar and couch area.Our server Alyssa greeted us right away after we sat down and kindly provided her recommendations on drinks based on my tastes. I started with a refreshing Whiskey Sour based. Love the homemade sour mix and egg white foam. Their chocolate chip cookie was to DIE for. It was finely crispy on the outside, moist and fluffy with a rich chocolate taste. I don't care how many calories it was. I would definitely eat it again.I'm definitely impressed how equally attentive Alyssa was to all the guests as it was a busy night. She remembered where I was sitting even though I moved around the venue. The ease of parking was the cherry on top for me. No valet and no tight street parking makes my next visit just as easy!

Been here now a handful of times just to say that this is one of, if not the number one spot for an espresso martini. Their ratios are just *chefs kiss* but it's their espresso hands down. I've ordered it from their menu, and bar tenders choice and everything in between and it's always delightful. The service is top tier. Love the atmosphere when live jazz is playing. It can be a little hard to have a conversation but those can wait ha.

Great vibes in here! Really great space to hang out in groups, nice large couches, great natural lighting. Decent iced coffees, but kinda pricey

Place has a great ambience, it's very industrial modern. I was intimidated first impression but bartenders baristas make you feel welcomed. Gage was the one behind the bar first time I went and explained the menu thoroughly and took his time and mentioned live nights. Friends and I came the following day and he greeted us in a friendly manner. This has become our hangout spot after that. Alyssa, Pat, and robert were also very accommodating and kind. Francisco makes the meanest green salsa.

Great date spot or hangout with friends. Drinks are delectable. The jazz music is stellar.

Vibes was vibing,and service did not disappoint.Wish they had more indoor seating though.Packed house you should get there lttile early before traffic rolls in to get a good seat.
