Trini Style Bake 'n Shark & Tings

Tried the Bake 'n' Shark for the first time a couple of weeks ago. The food was full of flavor and made me feel like I was in the Caribbean. My son had the fish and chips and loved it. Friendly staff and quality food presentation. Best to order online and wait for someone to call you when it's ready. I think the ordering system gives you a "default time" on when your order will be ready but they call you when it is ACTUALLY ready. Looking forward to exploring the rest of the menu!

Tried this place at the Truck Yard and had to wait over 20 minutes to order and over 30 minutes to receive my Bake N' Shark which had little flavor and fell apart. I took one bite and threw it away.

Want to wait over 45 mins for food from a food truck? Look no further! They are really on island time and idgaf! They messed up our order, their chicken taste like fish, their fish like chicken, their shark taste frozen, never again!

When it's not easy to come by some real trini food, you drive through 40 mins of traffic to get to this food truck! We tried the bake n shark, sorrel and rum cake. Everything tasted great! . Thanks to the owners for waiting for us for arrive before closing up shop.

The food is delicious! I loved the bake 'n fish, and the rum cake was incredible. My apartment community Junction at Galatyn Park was lucky enough to have them on property. I'll be back for sure!

Man oh man!! The best bake and shark I've had in my life. My wife is from Barbados and Trinidad so I've had the honor of tasting some good authentic food! Now I can add this spot to my list of favorite places to eat! I had to go back and get one to go!!

My first time here and food was great and unique. The only reason why I took a star off was because of the long 45 minute wait, prices too high, the food not really hot, and no rum cake. Other then that I would try this place again, I got the bake n' fish sandwich..interested in trying the other sandwiches next time!

Food and service is excellent! It left a great impression on us and we're definitely going back for sure!

My disappointment is a little closer to home, I came with a smile and left with a frown.As a Trini you want to take a page out of the book of other cultures and patronize your people, support them to be successful. This ideology was not receprocated by the owners, we were first in line with kids and blantanty lied to that they are working on our orders while guess who was clearly given priority, total foreigner, in particular the white folks. Instead of providing quality service we waited 50 minutes after tipping and showing utmost support. The food was cold, we paid $14 for bake and shark with everything and got dry bake and dry shark with no condiments and had to drive back to get the correct bake and shark order, left without checking the roti and later found out the chicken roti was almost chickenless ( literally 2 cubes) and the kids complained about the cold food. It hurts my heart to submit this review but it is important that the owners understand that success starts at home, don't lie to your people, treat us like family and trust we will help you build your legacy. Unfortunately I won't be returning, together we aspire together we achieve. I would take a bad order and still keep quiet but what I will not stay quiet about is utter disregard of my wife and kids, I cannot stay quiet when I see the remnants of colonialism still clouding the minds our people. Be proud of your people , we are Trinis.

Trini Style Shark and Bakevisited the Truck Yard in the Colony. Decided to try these guys out. I ordered the chicken tacos and trini wings. first I was shocked when my total was $36. if I had seen the prices(not posted) I wouldn't have ordered the food. Not worth the cost. I got my wings and they were cold and not spicy at all. The chicken tacos were breaded chicken tenders in a tortilla, the only thing that made them spicy was the habanero sauce I put on them. not good prices or quality
