Town Park is located on Main Street just seconds away from the Historical Downtown Mansfield and across directly from the Main Street Lofts providing a family fun oriented environment for just about anyone looking tonget outside and enjoy the lovely outdoors. At this park, they offer basketball courts and also a volleyball court with sand. There is a huge covered Pavillion with plenty of benches and tables to sit at to host your next birthday party. There are also multiple BBQ grills at this location as well. They have 2 children's playgrounds with slides and swings. This park also connects to the Walnut Creek Linear trail that goes all throughout the city of Mansfield City Parks. On the trail, there are plenty of picnic tables with benches sitting underneath trees that provide plenty of shade. There are also many of Texas's state flowers, the beautiful blubonnet, as well as the state tree, the pecan tree all throughout the park.Over this is such a great park to spend your precious off time whether you're looking to let the kids loose and play on the playground or maybe get a nice run/ walk on the trails or even maybe ride your bike. There are restrooms on site, and your furry friends are allowed as long as they are leashed.

This is our go-to park. The grounds are always well kept and clean, and there is plenty of seating under the pavilion and around the play areas. Speaking of which, there are two play areas so that little ones can have fun and play safely, too. There is a restroom that always meets my mom standards next to the basketball court, and there is also a sand volleyball pit. Not to mention the trails that seem popular, but I've never explored them. On nice days, it gets busy which is great for the kids to have so many playmates to run around with.

Sure it's a nice clean park. Big equipment for older children to play, basketball court and nice walking trail areas. However, the swings are hung to low for any child over 6. When a kid pulls their legs back to try to swing their feet should not touch the ground. I noticed most kids would swing on their stomachs. If your kid is not an avid swinger that likes to go more than two sways; enjoy. This Park is great for kids that like to climb, good walks on the trail. Downfalls for us low swings; my kids got bored quickly with the climb equipment. Once you've been to Frisco Commons Hope Park or Lynn Creek SSPrairie Dog Playground it's hard to top that :)

This park would be amazing if they would just get some covers! It's before noon and the slides are hot enough to blister my sons legs! There are so many other great covered parks to go to.
