This Korean tofu restaurant is located in Richardson.'s Chinatown. We visited as a group on Sunday evening and were seated right away, as it wasn't crowded yet.We started with the Korean pancake and chicken wings to share, both of which were delicious. The wings (unfortunately, no pictures taken) were especially amazing--crispy, sweet, and savory! As usual, I ordered the seafood tofu soup. The shrimp and mussels were fresh and flavorful, and the tofu was soft and silky. The rich, savory soup was the real star--it was absolutely wonderful! We all enjoyed the yummy food and friendly service, and I'm sure we'll be back to try more items on the menu!

It's been cold & windy in Texas and Tofu Factory warmed me right up! My friend and I both shared the soft tofu soup combo & it was the perfect amount of food for the 2 of us at a great value. The beef soft tofu was so flavorful & hearty, definitely the star of the meal. The rice comes in a stone pot so you get that delicious crispy rice bottom. The spicy pork was a bit too fatty for my preference, so would try something else on the combo menu next time. Each table has a call button for your server, so it's super convenient to ask/order anything!

My husband and I came here during lunch when the City of Richardson was holding its Lunar New Year's festival in the Chinatown parking lot. The place was very busy. Despite this, the woman in charge was very kind, let us know how long we might have to wait (about 15 minutes), and then seated us promptly. Food is delicious! We shared a meal. We ordered the combo beef bulgogi and soft tofu soup. You get to choose the type of soft tofu soup, so we selected vegetables. We were asked what level of spiciness we wanted on a scale of 1-3. I selected 2. It wasn't spicy for me, but my husband said it was a bit too spicy for him. The soup is served in a hot stone bowl, so it stays very hot throughout the entire meal. A raw egg is provided for you to crack and place in your soup to cook and mix in as you wish. The Beef Bulgogi is sweet and comes with lots of white cooked onions. A bowl of rice is provided on the side along with an assortment of pickled or marinated vegetables like kimchi and cucumbers. I wasn't able to identify all of the items. They are served cold, but all were appetizing. There is a call button near each table. We were able to press the button to get our waitstaff's attention. This was handy because they forgot to bring our cokes and glasses. We had a pitcher of water at our table the entire time. The restaurant is quite big with large private booths. There are a few televisions on the wall showing videos of Korean pop-stars performing. The sound was muted and no captions were on, but it was still amusing to see the costumes and choreography. Other traditional items adorned the walls like fans and lanterns. It's a very casual restaurant and family friendly with lots of high chairs for kids and tables large enough for groups. We would like to return to sample other items on the menu and try the place when it isn't as crowded and busy.

Spicy pork bulgogi was so tender and flavorful I just want more orders of it! Beef tofu soup as wonderful and warm and delightful as ever. The tteokbakki was good but a little too sweet for me, still well done though!

The price is high for the food portion, especially the stone pot bibimbap (not enough ingredients compared to other places). It used to be bigger, but it's still good. They give about 6-8 side dishes. Also, there's not a lot of tofu choices (considering the name), just the tofu soup. The owner is very kind. I like their barley tea.

I would give Tofu Factory a 3.5/5. They have a good selection of combos to choose from where you can pick a meat entree plus any one of their soft tofu soups.Their seafood pancake is pretty good! Ours was packed with seafood. Fried dumplings were nice and crispy.Overall, I would say Tofu Factory is a great option if you're looking for soondubu in Richardson. However, if you're in the Carrollton area I personally would recommend trying Cho Dang Village!

Was craving some soup and decided to come here as it was close by. 5 stars for the service. The owner and I think his daughter were both extremely nice to our toddler and interacted with him and helped me pick up his toys and utensils whenever he dropped them, which was quite often -_-Seafood pancake- pretty good. Crispy, lots of squid.I ordered the combo pork belly with tofu soup:Ham and sausage tofu soup- you can pick the level of spiciness from 0-3. I picked level 1. Very mild yet delicious. Not too salty or heavy. Lots of tofu. I really enjoyed it. My toddler also really liked it. The rice came in a stone pot and I loved the crispy edges. Pork belly- thinly cut. Decent but nothing special. Comes with 2 sauces to dip into: sesame oil and a spicy sauce. My picky toddler actually ate a couple slices. Japchae rice- basically japchae with a side of rice. My husband enjoyed it. Thought the flavors were good and balanced. Banchan- pretty good. Enjoyed the kimchi and the pickled radish.Overall, I had a good and full lunch. Recommend eating here if nearby. Not sure how it compares to other dallas Korean restaurants as I haven't been to many here. But I've been to many in NY and this place hits the spot! It would be one of my go tos if it was in NY.
