After avoiding this truck for some time, I finally sucked it up and tried Three Lions and I am sure glad I did.The guys working the truck are not only adorable with their British accents but helpful and genuinely want you to enjoy their food.I tried the chicken curry which was PHENOMENAL. I would hunt down this truck any day I was craving Indian food. Living in London, I know how infulential Indian cuisine is so I loved seeing this incorporated into their menu.I also tried the meat pie which was just like a pot pie without the sloppy gravy. You can literally pick this up with your hands and shove your face with it. The insides are delicious as is the pastry crust, however it is a bit too thick. At several points it just felt like I was eating cooked pie crust with nothing else. The fish and chips were disappointing. VERY, VERY greasy and tasteless. I took 2 bites and threw it away. I would give this truck 4 stars if the fish and chips werent so bad - I mean...that is THE British staple, right? All in all, Three Lions Truck is solid. I think they need to try their food each day they prep to make sure they are delivering the best product possible and they would be much more successful. With that said...I cant help but thinking about their curry each time I see the truck now!

Simply put, I had the Shrimp Salad roll at about $6. The roll more like a mini-roll because it was the size of a hotdog bun. I think it would have been more fairly priced at $3.50-$4. The shrimp was decently fresh, thought it was filled with tiny baby shrimp. It wasn't mind-blowing or something I would crave but it wasnt bad either. It was just ok, the aioli was light but way too light, more akin to watered-down mayo. I wish there was a little more pop to it. The bread was good, homemade and slightly toasted, yet still chewy.Overall, I doubt I would be back. They offer $7 meatpies and a $9 fish and chip sandwich but not much variety. Nothing to get excited over.

Absolutely delicious meat pie. Friend said the chicken/ bacon pie was amazing (and based on the sounds he was making I'd agree). Overall I can't wait to eat here again. $7 for 1 pie. Takes credit cards.

Three Lions has the most amazing fish and chips I have had since the pubs in London. The first bite was amazing, crisp breading, perfect thickness, and not under cooked surrounding still tender but firm cod. I've had the fish and chips twice now and both times it was perfect. The chips are thin sliced and double fried goodness. I also had the meat pie the first time and was disappointed, not because there was anything wrong but it was not what I expected. Three Lion's meat pie is made with ground beef and no gravy. The filling and crust were very good but not what I think of as a meat pie. I will say their version is more portable for eating on the go.

The menu was very limited with only 3 items to order: Meat Pie $7, Sausage Rolls $5, sliders $3. I ordered the Meat Pie which is ground beef, onions, and seasoning. I was disappointed with it as it was very plain. The puff pastry was okay, but this thing did not taste too fresh. I wished there was more of a variety and that they had another option. Unfortunately I will not be going back, since it was bland.

Three Lions makes such incredibly fresh and delicious food, you would never expect it to be from a food truck! I tried 3 items for lunch today think I would have a couple bites of each, but they were are soo delicious that I ate very bite! First I had the meat pie, which was surprisingly flavorful meat in a had made pastry- absolutely mouth watering. Second I had the shrimp salad roll on what I assume is had made bread. Normally I wouldn't order seafood from a food truck but this shrimp salad roll was fresh and delicious, perfect for a hot day in Dallas. Finally I had the pork sliders- again the meat was very flavorful with amazing spice to it. LOVE THIS FOOD TRUCK!!! Don't look at John B's review- he has the wrong truck.

Fish and Chips (fries to the Brits, not potato chips): simply delicious. The chilled bottle of malt vinegar sadly cooled everything down but still tasted good.

The serving was tiny for $9. But this ended up being a relief, because it was inedible. The fish was rubbery, the batter soggy and undercooked. The fries were hit-and-miss: some overcooked, some half-raw.

Great food by great people. Though they do have a limited menu everything is delicious and made fresh that day. They told me they intend on expanding the menu soon.I recommend the Sausage Roll. It is a puff pastry with a great filling of sausage and finely chopped jalapeños. I get it every time I see them. Again great stuff!!

As a homesick Australian, their meat pie really cheered me up. So delicious, and really well done. Someone had told them to add jalapeño to their sausage roll: Not a great move, in my opinion. Without the jalapeño, I think it would also be amazing. I haven't tried anything else from their menu, so I really can't speak to the negative experiences others have had with the fish & chips or shrimp rolls. I will definitely go back for more meat pies.
