The place looks nice. There is a cool putting green and you can drive golf balls in the simulator. But don't even think your going to get a smile or a greeting from the bartender. Unless you look like you are about to drop 300 bucks on 11 dollar cocktails, your just a villager who isn't worthy of such niceties. They are probably better with groups of people.

Would've given 5 stars for the putting and overall vibe of the area, as well as the very nice front desk workers where you get the putters and balls. However, the bartender was a different story. My fiancé and I went around 3:45pm yesterday (Sunday afternoon). He immediately seemed as if I was a bother to him, although the bar was dead, the club just opened, and he was not busy whatsoever. He just stared at me until I told him what drink I wanted. No sort of greeting or smile. I ordered a frozen pina colada. The man seemed disgruntled that's what I preferred. He goes to the pina colada machine and the mix was a little too frozen, so he was trying to get out an adequate amount for my drink. I told him nicely, "I'm sorry, if it's too much trouble I can order something else" and he responds rather rudely "at this point it would be more trouble for me to stop." Once he hands me my drink, I said I really appreciate it, and he responds with "it's too cold outside for a frozen drink anyway." and then walks away. Mind you I just had a workout outside, so I was sweating, and it was 75 degrees outside... This really upset me and honestly ruined the rest of my experience, so my fiancé went to the front desk when we returned our putters to tell them about the horrible attitude of the bartender. I live at this complex, therefore I use a lot of the facilities The Village has to offer. However, if your goal is to get outsiders to use the facilities and maybe decide to move in -- I'd suggest getting some nicer staff.

Hours on Yelp are wrong. The VGC opens at 5:00pm - 11:00pm during the week It's a great place to relax and have some drinks. They also have great food, a games areas and 18 hole putting course. Great place to get together with friend and have a few drinks and watch the game.
