The Village Drey Hotel

Great hotel. Friendly staff and it smells like a dream. Nice walkable area with good coffee and restaurants just steps away.

The staff was overall great, the beds were comfortable, but the air freshener in the lobby was way too much, there isn't breakfast as was previously advertised, the room only had 2 washcloths for a reservation for 3 people, there was one pair of slippers and no robes. There was a shade on a window between the bathroom and the bedroom and it took us 3 days to figure out which switch controlled it. We had to order ice delivered to your room, and the person at the front had to go to a lower floor to fill the bucket. The valet turnaround was tight and front door not obvious. The bar staff made great drinks but was not super attentive even when it wasn't crowded, and the appetizers were good but the pasta too salty. All in all fine but over-designed and not a great set up for a multi generational trip. I can see the appeal for summer /all young professionals!

This is a beautiful and quiet hotel with soft beds. The staff is kind and seems very genuine. I've stayed here twice now and love the hotel. The only thing to beware of is the wild pool parties during the summer - it's a singles crowd and not very kid-friendly.

Love, love, love, this hotel! Just wish I had known that on Mondays all the restaurants are closed except for the one hall of food. Everybody has been so nice and helpful at check-in. Really impressed with how beautiful and clean this place is! We are so sad we can only stay one night it's booked the rest of the week. :(Absolutely love it!

I love the Drey Hotel but am very disappointed that they opened the pool to the pubic this summer. The hotel and staff were still top notch with great service, beautiful big rooms and very clean. However, I enjoyed the pool and Village Square last year as part of my hotel experience and this year it was completely different. Rather than the relaxing luxury retreat feel that I experienced last summer, it was a jam packed party pool with long lines. When I finally found a corner spot to sit in the pool, I got bullied out by a rowdy bachelorette party. If you are looking for a Vegas style pool party this was pretty darn close. Also, this attraction from the general public made the valet a mess. However, the hotel is amazing and if I visit Dallas again in the winter, I would come back to the Drey in a heartbeat. I will not stay here again in the summer unless they decide to block a private area at the pool for hotel guests or go back to only welcome The Village residents and hotel guests.

We are so impressed with this hotel! We stayed here for a night because we were driving from Houston area to Hot Springs, AR. It's an 8hr drive so we decided to break the trip (we have 2 toddlers). So glad we found this gem! It's so clean, very modern, looks very new and since it's a small hotel, there's not a lot of people so it's quiet and feels more private. We love the pool sooo much! Even have a sand area next to the pool, very beach vibe! Kids had so much fun so we decided to book the place again on our way back from Arkansas. The staff are very nice and friendly too.

The facility is beautiful, and we were excited for our stay. We originally booked a king room, and when I called to add an extra night, we were pleasantly surprised to hear we'd been upgraded to one of their lofts. Having never been here before, we weren't sure what to expect.We arrived in the evening when it was dark and chilly outside. After checking in at the front desk, we were informed that the lofts were about 500 feet away. With our luggage in tow, we made our way there, navigating in the dark.Upon entering, we were impressed by how spacious and clean the loft was. However, we quickly noticed that the entire space was surrounded by windows. While there were pull-down blinds, we still felt a lack of privacy, as the loft was situated in a parking lot with frequent foot traffic. Adding to our disappointment, we discovered that instead of the king bed we had originally booked, the loft had a queen.While the upgrade was a nice gesture, it ultimately didn't meet our expectations. The aesthetics were lovely, but the lack of privacy and the bed downgrade made the experience less enjoyable than we had hoped. Also, the TV in the bedroom area was not working.

Ww came just for a stay cation. The hotel was beautiful, clean, with great amenities. Food within walking distance us a million things within a 5 minute drive. The highlight though was the staff. Lance Lashley the bellman was kind gracious and full if info if you wanted it. Not pushy at all but super willing to help if needed. We also had a drink at the hotel bar. The hostess, bartender were funny and sociable. The chef even came out and we talked for a while. The service was impeccable but they also were not afraid to be themselves and share that with us. I highly recommend this place ! Definitely wl be returning

We love staying here when we are in Dallas. Convenient location to shopping and dining.Lance was our bellman again and he is always so upbeat and helpful. Highly recommend The Drey!
