This is an updated review. I've spoke with a manager about the bar service at the village country club previously and it doesn't seem to have helped. The fact that gratuity is automatically added regardless of the service is one thing. It shows, rude bartenders, obviously overwhelmed on busy nights. Get it together. The same bartenders upstairs have been getting away with this. This was the main reason I did not choose this place for our event of 100 ppl. I won't go there again or tell friends until something changes.

We went to check out this spot and it was amazing. The patio and ambiance are unmatched. Upstairs, the game area was my favorite as we spent quite a moment hanging out, drinking, and playing. Well thought out!The pool, still under construction looks, like it'll be the spot. Definitely a resort style with a swim up pool bar. There's one tree that seems off and probably would've even better off as a tree something more exotic but it is what it is. It was just funny how my friend and I had the same thought when we saw it. As for the food, the place open right now is Dive In. Food wise - not a disappointment at all. We tried the spinach artichoke dip, the chicken paillard, and the shrimp tacos. The cookie skillet had much potential to be delicious but it was a victim of my biggest angst with the place. The speed of service. Once seated, it took a waiter over 10 minutes to acknowledge us and bring water. Even between the waiter visits, it was so long that you wanted to order everything at once cause you never knew when they'd be back. The cookie skillet came with the ice cream 3/4 melted and the cookie not hot (hence why it has potential to be delicious if delivered timely). Service was subpar and very slow. If it wasn't for this, definitely a 5 star. But please do note, when met with service, they are extremely nice!

The pool is expansive and very nicely designed. The lounge chairs are comfy and there are many umbrellas. There are even a few umbrellas in the pool making for a great spot to relax whether you want sun or shade. One side of the pool even has sand under the chairs giving the beach feel despite all the concrete. There are QR codes on the chairs which allow you to order food and drinks, including alcohol, and have it brought to you poolside. Favorite drinks are the Margarita Pouches and the Frozen Watermelon Froze. The Asian chicken salad is a great lunch pick. There's a little kick to it and it's light and healthy. The Grilled Chicken Sandwich was also great and clearly a favorite as the pool gate attendant recommended it. Inside the clubhouse there's a bar and lots of seating. There are plenty of areas to bring your laptop and get some work done in a quiet area. There's a nearby game room as well for when your work is all done. Definitely a fun place to relax and eat and drink. One pool guest is free and after that it's $20.

The Village Country club is really great! I went to the pool for the holiday & it was a great time. Multiple pools for whatever you're feeling. Definitely go see Sarah at the pool bar, she was awesome, the best service!! Drink prices were a little steep for a certain things. The chicken bites weren't very good, really dry. But definitely check out the pool!

Went to the Holiday Pop Up on December 26. It was closed. Lots of other people were trying to get in to no avail. Finally, the staff comes out and says even they didn't know they were closed! Absolutely ridiculous!

Good food especially when at the pool, but the staffing could be helped out! They are understaffed at times. Also wish I could order more than just the brunch menu on Saturdays before 1pm.

Specifically for the open to the public Christmas pop up event. Went during open hours and no one was there , no one e answered the phone. It was weird. Hacked three sites to make sure the hours were correct and we drove and hour to go to the pop up event. Do better!

My girlfriend and I bought tickets to the pool party and when we showed up they had no staff there and no one showed up until two hours after the opening time. Calling it a beach club is kinda overrated because it's more of a family pool vibe. Also after paying the 25% added gratuity to my bill the staff decided to forge their own extra tip on my receipts after. This staff doesn't care about you enjoying yourself, they will steal your money on top of the bad service or no service they give. I had to walk inside to even place my orders because they only seem to care about the groups in the cabanas. Never going back!!

Planned a night out to the christmas pop up at the village a few weeks ago. Friends got sitters and Ubers (one from Plano) only to show up to a dark building, no signs, nothing. Another group was there in the same situation and said they had posted around 6:30pm on their Instagram story that the pop up was closed for the night. So then we had to call another Uber. Wasted an hour of sitter time. And find another location. I sent them a message about my frustration and days later they responded they wanted to make it up to me with drink tickets. I thanked them, understand things happen, no response. Days later they said they need a list of names for the drink tickets. I sent. Several more days later they said I need to email somebody my request. Email sent and now days later no response. I'll pay for my own drinks but not at the village. Horrible customer service. Don't be fooled by their social media, I guess they only care about their treatment of influencers.

One of my new favorite things about living in the Village, and it's not even fully open yet! A big perk of living in the village is having this awesome place within walking distance. The upstairs lounge (residents only) is a really great place to hang out and spend time with friends. They have some outdoor patio lounge areas as well! So, for the food -- Earlier this week my wife and I had the burger and the chicken bites. It was very tasty and the food quality competes with some of the other restaurants we used to frequent (pre covid) on lowest Greenville. The breading on the chicken was perfect and the sauce that came with it was a great pairing. I liked the side of lime too! This evening I tried the salmon with farro, and it was a tasty "lighter" option. The sangria was very good, though for my personal taste it was a bit too sweet but I think most people would love it. Masks are (as usual) required unless you're sitting down eating, but despite the current state of the world the team puts on some great service.I am excited to toast to some great memories with friends here!
