The Sound at Cypress Waters

An upscale looking area with a class of its own. It studded with couple offices, residential area apartments, park, interesting architecture, beautiful restaurants and cafes overlooking a lake, and more. Less than 10 min from the airport, its worth a visit for any of the above reasons.It has so many picturesque parts and you can get some stunning sunset ones if you can choose with a little attention. Promoted mainly as apartment complex, it can be a great place to live. The huge metal leaf with all the tiny detail, the tempus fugit bell tower, and other contemporary arts really make a statement. So also do the lit streets around the complex square.One of the coffee shops I visited almost everyday on my short trip was the Ascension coffee. I didn't even try another to compare, they had such unique holiday flavors going on I just kept coming back for more. Note : there are plenty of food options of all kinds. Overall, it was worth the drop-in and I hope I get to explore more in my future visits.

The DFW area never ceases to surprise me, as every year we visit a new development has flourished. A great sign of these new areas is a mix of young families and big friend groups enjoying drinks and eats al fresco.While Frisco seems to be the go-to for most during the summers, I must say Cypress Waters and the whole North Lake area are taking the cake as the next big chill spot in the Metroplex

One of my favorite places to visit when there's musical performances. Such a nice area to grab a blanket or chair and unwind. Family friendly environment with several food and drink options available.

Wonderful place to hang out and unwind at the end of your day, nestled in between apartment buildings for your own enjoyment.Live music on weekends. Plenty of seating along with several places to eat.There is a walk path along the man made lake. Great for families, friends, pets, everyone!

If you haven't visited Cypress Waters, you need to get there! The area surrounds a lake and they offer concerts and lots of seating options. They even offer free WiFi and charging stations for phones. They also have interactive activities. Great restaurant options!

What a nice complex full of awesome amenities !There are 4 apartment homes to choose from and they are themed to certain times/places. Staff is very friendly and lots of great spaces for horsing friends and family of you do t have enough space in your apartment. The areas are inviting and very cozy.Fitness center that is available to residents is state of the art and open 24 hours!!The micro 7-11 is an awesome amenity as is the roof top bar.The restaurants and lake make this a very inviting place to live/eat and play

I've been spending a LOT more time in this area since they built a pristine new workout studio (which is right next door to a wine bar, score!). Love having this as a peaceful oasis and getaway from my norm. There's PLENTY of free parking, live music on the weekends, a splash pad for the kiddos. There's a coffee shop, hamburger joint, pizza spot, and even a spot for fresh seafood and beverages. Great for families or a fun day out with friends or bring out of town guests. Check out Hustle Studios for yoga bootcamp or spin class then head right over to brunch after! Stay for vino and jams! You will also love the new running trail. There's not a ton of shade so be prepared to get a killer tan in the summer time! Gotta love the heat training. I plan on getting the most perfect shade of caramel macchiato.

Great place to hang out on a weekend. Handful of selections to choose from in terms of eats. There are 6 restaurants to choose from. Some close early. In fact, if you are looking for some late might stuff, you may wanna try other places. These restaurants close around 11. There are live performances on weekends which is a fun time. Definitely recommend if you are looking for something to do on the weekends.

I found Venduni smart cafe.. they sell coffee, jar cakes, chocolate chip cookies. I HAVE TO TRY THEM ALL! You can taste the freshness. I will be back for more!
