The Sanctuary Music and Events

The Sanctuary Events was the perfect location for our event. We worked with Jennifer for booking and details and she is extremely professional, helps with every detail, connects vendors, and made our event run smoothly.The space is gorgeous and the surrounding area is great for pictures. The bridal suite is exquisite spacious, and modern. We worked with Cooper for audio visual needs and he did amazing to bring it all together and accommodate our needs.

We looked at a lot of venues for our big day but decided on The Sanctuary because of how pretty the area is and how beautifulThe venue is itself. Also, we had A LOT of flexibility in choosing our own vendors for everything from decor to catering. Jennifer was absolutely amazing throughout the planning process, and especially on our wedding day! I will HIGHLY recommend the Sanctuary and Jennifer for your special day and hope it's as much of a success as ours was

What a treat in McKinney. Right next to the Guitar Sanctuary store is the music venue. It is a two level facility with tables, and chairs to sit. We heard one of our favorite local bands Texas Flood. There is not a bad place in the house to see or hear the stage. Drinks were good and the staff was very friendly.It could be a great venue for all kinds of events I think.

This was the PERFECT venue for our 1920s themed party! Jennifer and Conner were just fantastic to work with. They were able to adjust some of the plans on the fly without our attendance noticing. They really went above and beyond to provide excellent service and did it with top notch professionalism. We will be hosting many more events here!

Truly a Hidden piece of art. The acoustics are amazing and there is not a bad seat in the house. The energy is so uplifting and attending events at this venue are not only uplifting but exciting!!! True performers! Every player is excellent because they appear free to be, and the love for the group / family is evident and heart warming. I say uplifting because so many events are held to help people that are just normal people like me and you who have had a bad twist of fate. Not by "workers" but people like Maylee herself,....!! People who CARE! I absolutely adore this place! I've always been skeptical of government due to my ummm.... I did the best I could " early In college days. The video they showed him the words of this though were so incredibly genuine that I was changed forever as far as my view and people. I finally saw myself as somebody who was judging a group of people that have a certain profession... As I tell the world we really are all the same LOL! What a moment of self awareness! What a treat to attend such an amazing show with such a great cause - it was so that the cause was TRUE that it made it make you want to help. Truly a well-designed venue in all aspects. It helps that the Mayor George Fuller and May-lee- Thomas are there so have fun and so down to earth!

My daughter got married at the Bella Donna Chapel a couple of weeks ago, So we naturally had the reception at the Sanctuary. The reception turned out to be beautiful!!!!We were planning the ceremony and the reception from out of state, with absolutely no knowledge of the area, vendors, etc., so we chose the gold package. During our initial visit touring the Sanctuary we were assured that by choosing the gold package we had very little to do remotely and that nothing would slip through the cracks. I strongly encourage anybody having your reception at the sanctuary to review the contract in minute detail....every word.... to be sure that what you're told at the touring is actually what you're signing up for. I sadly did not. In conversations later the manager of the sanctuary told me that I should have employed her separately to be the coordinator and then she would have been more inclined to help.The mother of the bride flew in from California to review details close to the wedding date and met with the manager of the sanctuary. The manager had 2 laptops that both had dead batteries and she had forgotten her notebook so everything that was discussed and chosen on that day was completely forgotten. Months later we got emails and reminders asking us what was decided that weekend because she had no access to it. It was very difficult to recall everything that was discussed, so when we arrived on the big day, we had changes which were not appreciated by them.The sanctuary has some amazing vendors that made life so much easier, some not as much. :) a huge shout out to FarmHaus....Glambycassmarie....Tasha with 3eighteenpro....Catieannphotography......all astonishingly amazing!!!Cooper with the Sanctuary was wonderful.....during the event. When it was over we were told we had to take all of the garbage out....up the road....and throw it away ourselves.....the maids of honor were sweeping floors while the father of the bride, Myself (stepmom) and Bride's brothers were cleaning and taking out trash...... Not what I would call a gold package!Bottom line..... This is a beautiful venue and it is extraordinarily convenient to the belladonna chapel. Would I do it again? No. Having to cart garbage around at close to midnight after buying the best package they offer is just not what I consider A great end to a Very expensive very emotional evening.

This was the perfect venue for my Daughter graduation party . The place and setting were perfect. Jennifer is so helpful and easy to work with, it was just perfect and stress free place.The food was awesome and everything turned out the way we we expected. My daughter graduation party turned out perfect ,. I'll definitely do it again.

For the best service, professional treatment, great parking, and beautiful setting, The Guitar Sanctuary Music and Events venue is top-notch. Manager, Jennifer Buschman is second to none. She readily offers suggestions as to various table sizes and set-up options based on her many years of experience. Adriatica provides a magical backdrop to your event. The Sanctuary Music and Events is classy, safe, clean and very unique. People will most likely comment about the lovely decor and colors found in all aspects of the venue. Resounding acoustics makes for excellent music. The stage creates an avenue for visibility in case you have presentations or entertainment.

If you're a fan of progressive or different styles of music than the norm, The Sanctuary will probably have That Band. It's a lovely, comfortable place and has damned good sound. I have not eaten there as I tend to go to the Italian place nearby but it remains my very favorite small music venue.

It's a great location, a nice venue, and has very professional management. It is also competitively priced!
