If you're in town you got to stop by The Salty Donut. Truly the best donuts in town. I can't remember allthe names, they are not too sweet to power over the tastes. Highly recommended

Good donut, but not something I would drive out the way for. It's at a park in a busy downtown area so finding parking is not easy.

Located right in front of yardbird it's the cool looking circular building next to the water park. Horchata donut - I was expecting it to be sweet but it wasn't! That's the kind of dessert I like! 7/10 Ice coffee - took a sip and not my cup of "tea" 3/10

The Salty Donut food truck at Klyde Warren Park is a fun spot for unique, specialty donuts right in the heart of downtown Dallas. I tried the brown butter and salt donut, and while it was good--rich with a nice balance of sweet and salty flavors--I found it a bit overpriced for what you get. It's definitely a treat worth trying if you're a donut fan, but I'm not sure I'd get the same one again. Still, it's a nice option for a splurge if you're in the park and want something different!

The service was very nice. The young lady was kind and happened to be working by herself, despite she was very kind. Now the donuts were good, but I'm only giving it four stars instead of five because number one they were cold. Number two the star was a lot smaller so I was a bit disappointed, especially for the price (around five dollars per donut) but they were good. The best tasting donut is a tie between the Horchata and star. They had the perfect balance of sweet where it isn't too much but quite literally perfect. If they were warm, they would've tasted so much better.

Went when there wasn't any lines so we didn't have to wait at all. What I liked most was that the donut wasn't too sweet! Even with the caramelized sugar on top.

The Salty Donut is located in the bishop art district area so the vibes and aesthetics are there. It's a really chill place with unique donut options. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating with umbrellas. The staff is friendly and helpful.I was fighting the urge to order everything on the menu but every choice we ended up making was delicious. The strawberry shortcake was my favorite. I usually don't like filled donuts but these were tasty. They're not too sweet and the frosting doesn't taste fake. The bbq bun is a must try if it's still available. It's like the char siu bao from dim sum but southern Texas bbq style. Highly recommend making a stop if you're here.

I know how good this spot is from visiting the one in Orlando early 2021; so as soon as this donut shop pulled up in my Yelp search as being nearby my hotel, I jumped in the car to make my way to donut heaven. I love asking the staff what their favorite selections are. The girl behind the counter had amazing suggestions, and put up with my inquisitive sugar fixation very kindly. She suggested to get the pumpkin donut bc it's on its way out, and it ended up being my favorite of all I tried. Sooo savory, fresh, melt in your mouth flavor. Not too much pumpkin, had a nice slight cinnamon flavor but mostly a brown sugar butter taste that was the perfect fall/winter donut. Also loved the seasonal gingerbread latte! I had a sip of my significant others vanilla latte, and his was amazing as well. (I still liked mine better bc it was festive) If you are in the Bishop street neighborhood of Dallas, be sure to stop in for a quick sugar high ; )

Why 4 stars? Because this is the place to go if you're seeking a donut coma. --- --- ---We were in Dallas a few weeks ago and I was told I absolutely had to visit The Salty Donut. We never had time, but for round 2, we were eating lunch nearby, and I pulled up a search to see what kind of coffee could be found nearby. Up popped TSD, and I immediately knew where I needed to go. My coffee (cold brew) was just okay, but you come here for the donuts, and boy do they have donuts. I legitimately wanted to order every single one of them, but didn't want to be embarrassing. I opted for the Texas Sheet Cake, Banana Cream Pie, Strawberry Shortcake, Horchata and Cookie Butter. I liked, not loved all of them. Here's the thing about donuts like this: they are a lot. Eating even two full donuts like this will give you full blown diabetes, so you have to pace yourself. I grabbed a knife before I walked away and cut these bad boys up into sampler size. And that's what I'd recommend to anyone: these are best enjoyed when taking them to a party or to be enjoyed in a large group. Or, if you just want like one full donut, go that route. But the flavors are so appealing, it's probably impossible to just pick 1-2. Props to The Salty Donut for making some creative concoctions, but these are to be enjoyed in moderation!

Love the salty donut. When at klyde warren stopping in is a must! I tried the pumpkin brown butter and it was too sweet and just overall i wasnt a fan. My mom got the gf chocolate chip one and it was really good! It had more of a muffin texture than a donut one but it was really good! Fluffy, moist and delish! I grabbed an iced hibiscus lemonade today as well and it was tasty!
