The Ritz-Carlton Dallas, Las Colinas

Stayed at the Ritz on a Saturday for my friend's wedding reception. Her reception was in one of the grand ballrooms. I arrived to the hotel around 1 pm and our room was ready for early check-in. Regular check-in is at 4 pm. The service is exceptional at this hotel. Parking is easy. I chose to self-park in the parking lot directly across the main entrance to the hotel and the charge was $25/night. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean. I got ready for the wedding reception in one of the suites. The suite is very spacious with a nice living area, kitchen, dining area and large balcony overlooking the pool and villas below. The breakfast buffet is served at the restaurant inside the hotel called The Knife and had delicious upscale continental food including an omelet bar. You can order custom orders of coffees/lattes. The decor and furniture are beautiful and inviting. I would probably come back to the Ritz just to experience the breakfast again!Overall, great stay and beautiful venue for a wedding/reception. The rooms are comfortable and clean. My experience was everything and more of what I would expect from the Ritz!

Outstanding service and well appointed property. Exactly what you would expect from the Ritz. I had not stayed at this property since it was reflagged from The Four Seasons, so I was not expecting the property could be improved much. Obviously, it's extraordinarily well appointed and very well maintained. The renovations that they have done to the rooms are smart, and of course, the amenities of the property as you would expect or unparalleled. I have not played the golf course, but the facilities at the club and the food and beverage on site are all outstanding. At a recent stay, there was a small room mixup that was addressed immediately and efficiently by the front desk staff - specifically Clayton. He went above and beyond to ensure that the slight inconvenience was more than adequately addressed and was highly communicative. Very impressed. You'll love staying here, notwithstanding the fact that - like all luxury properties - you'll pay the appropriate premium.

Attended for a conference and very impressed with the staff, service, and quality of food. From breakfast, snacks, lunch, and dinner it was all very fresh, tasty, and good quality. Definitely a step above the usual conference food. Comfortable lecture room and extremely comfortable chairs made all day sessions much more pleasant. Definitely a quality location for business and pleasure.

Phenomenal is the one word I would use to describe this place. Stayed here to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and from the moment I booked it, the customer service was above and beyond my expectations. I called ahead of time to see if they could help me surprise my husband for our anniversary and Aaron was so helpful in getting something to the room before we arrived. Our Villa was spectacular and spacious. Upon arrival, we were greeted promptly and cheerfully by both the valet attendants and the front desk staff. When we arrived to our room, it was clean, beautifully decorated, and fully stocked. The property grounds were gorgeous with an on-site golf course and Sports club (with membership). They have slight renovations happening as Marriott took over this property (previously Four Seasons). Guests have the option to valet or self-park, but it's a bit of a walk for self-parking. However, shuttle carts are available. We had two drivers that were very pleasant during our stay, Nahim & Alex. They were helpful and told us a bit about the property. We also enjoyed a delicious meal at Knife Italian and Victoria, the greeter, was kind enough to take a picture of us. Our server, Bruce, was friendly, attentive, and had great recommendations. We would recommend this place to anyone who wants to be treated like royalty. Wonderful job by the management!

We stayed here for Hub's seminar. I stayed in the room or walked the grounds. Tip: Upon arriving ask for a map of the grounds for facilities and paths. A beautiful athletic facility has all kinds of exercise machines, classes and indoor tennis courts. I walked the indoor track above all of these. Outside are tennis and pickleball courts. The tournament golf course is amazing. Hubs enjoyed playing it. The pro shop has a lot of merchandise. Everyone is kind and helpful. The rooms are very nice. The espresso machine was my favorite. The housekeeping staff was thorough, since I saw them every day. The food was delicious. Valet and free parking available.

The rooms are fine but this is a hotel in obvious decline. I am staying for two nights and the hotel gym is unavailable. something about staffing problems. staff are pleasant but this is obviously not a four seasons or even close.

Sunday afternoon of Dec 22nd and the absolute rudest bartender at the juniper bar at the lobby. Complained about everything and made ordering the over expensive drinks absolutely miserable. It is like this bartender was out to make your entire experience miserable.Also not up to ritz Carlton standards or Marriott - staff is poorly trained and doesn't care and when checking in Marriott/ritz status means nothing in terms of an upgrade or anything for that matter - whereas the ritz downtown is the epitome of status and service honored. This hotel could learn a LOT by another Rtiz Carlton thatIs within 15 miles.

This is not even up to Marriott standards let alone a Ritz Carlton. The only thing worse than the facade of the building is the service in each of the restaurants. Arrive and order your dinner by 5:00pm if you hope to eat your disappointing, poorly cooked, prison quality meal by 8:00pm. The flourless chocolate cake taste like a dirty sponge and extracted all of the moisture from my body. Ordered the chicken from room service only to find it had been mummified and dated back to the Regan administration. The only thing moving with earnest anywhere near their restaurants or the pool were the roaches. Yes, there were roaches. The rooms are slightly below average at best. I stayed in one of their "villas". It was nice to be away from the main building that resembles an insane asylum from an horror movie. Unfortunately, they resembled the foyer of building that housed my Dentist, Chiropractor and Therapist (who I will now need to see after this painful visit). Please do yourself and the Ritz Carlton brand a favor and avoid this place with everything you have. You would be doing them a favor by expediting the removal of this property from their storied brand.The only positive was the team that checked us in. I hope they find new employment soon.

They are still finishing their renovations. Plus, we arrived the day that a HUGE storm had blown through in the morning. Lots of limbs down, debris, etc. All that is understandable.We definitely had some glitches, and the staff was overwhelmed. But when we expressed our disappointed, the staff went above and beyond to make it up to us. This is exactly what we expect and appreciate from the Ritz.As they are still recovering from the renovations, I recommend you wait until they are fully functional. And then this should be fantastic resort.
