The only reason I'm not giving this hotel a five-star rating is because the handle in the bathroom fell off in my hand. Other than that, it was a great hotel, and I can finally say I've stayed at a Ritz-Carlton.

First of all we have stayed at multiple Ritz locations and have never had this service (or lack there of) before. We are platinum elite members and have always been upgraded to Club level. Nope, not here. We paid $175 per person for literally 4 dinks for one night (which you have to make for yourself - not like the Ritz in NYC). Then, none of our internet TV worked. I was told at 11:15 that engineering would be up to fix. No one has been here yet. Save your money. Stay at a Bonvoy location for ¾ of the price because this place sucks.

I took my wife here for her birthday since she had never stayed at a Ritz-Carlton before (to be honest, either had I). Although the hotel is in some ways showing its age, the service was impeccable from start to finish and we really enjoyed our stay. They really make you feel welcome and try to take care of you. We had a standard room ( think they call it deluxe but it's just a regular room) with 2 queens. To be honest, the room was not an "OMG" moment when you walk in, but it was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very large. The beds were very comfortable. We faced greenery so the room was quiet. I liked the room and thought it was perfectly fine. The location is great although you have to do valet parking which is $55 per night because you'll never find parking in that area of town. We used the heated pool twice which was great; there is also a gym and a spa. I would definitely stay here again for a special occasion.

We stayed here last year and were excited to stay again but this year the hotel had gone so downhill. The shower water was freezing and never warmed up despite waiting several minutes. I had let the front desk know this two times via email and still never heard back. The elevators were broken several times, making us go up and down the stairs several times even after running a marathon so that was brutal. And the tv didn't work at all. I reached out to the front desk a few times to let them know what had happened and still haven't heard back (it's been about a month). That's ok they lost our business!

My husband and I were traveling for a work event and were very excited about staying at the Ritz in Dallas. The Staff from the Bellman to the Concierge and check in were on point! The wait staff and bartender were very professional and we were impressed with the service. Beyond that, the rooms were nice, nothing special. The lighting was the highlight. When we turned off the shower it would continue to drip drip drip. Annoying. the towels are not $600-800/night worthy. Felt like sandpaper.There was a constant quiet beeping all night that we still haven't figured out.The food in the Juniper bar is INCONSISTANT. We ordered the chicken bites the first night. They were really good. Went down the next night ordered them again and they were over done and tasted nothing like the first night.The Tex Mex restaurant had a good vibe but we ordered the Nachos were Cold, no cheese, very strange. Don't order them! The bed was very comfortable. The duvet was REALLY comfortable. Ask for more pillows if you want more than 2 for each of you.Nespresso nice in the morning. Coffee shop and provisions downstairs...Not to many provisions...:( And closes early. As I said the staff was incredibly nice, professional and accommodating. Food not so much. We never dined at the Knife Italian restaurant but it looked amazing...great ambience. Overall, we would not be back paying these outrageous prices and not having the updated amenities.
