Great location and amazing buffalo hot wings. Sat at the bar and got to visit with a super friendly and outgoing bartender named Perry .I highly recommend the spot. Perfect to go hang out with friends or family. James Freeman

This is a fun casual restaurant on Lake Worth with a view of the lake. Inside seating or outside in the sun or shade. All have lake views. The service is friendly and efficient. We were here around 5 on a Thursday. It wasn't real busy, but two large groups were gathering at two big tables. The beer battered onion rings were awesome. The fried catfish, French fries, fried okra and coleslaw were fresh and tasty. All of the hot food was very hot. The frozen mango was very good. I have a feeling that this place gets really crowded later at night and on weekends. We will be back!

My friend and I had the fried mushrooms and the fried catfish, which was very good! It was a perfect spring day and we sat outside for a beautiful view of Lake Worth. Now the service was very slow. Our waitress seemed to forget that we existed. If it hadn't been for the tasty margarita that I had and the beermy friend had and the fact that the view was so lovely, this would have upset me a lot more than it did.

Staff was really nice and the food was good. Moreover, the waitress was very attentive a d would definitely go back.

Okay so-Wow. This place gets all the stars. All of them.I wanted to really enjoy the Deep Ellum experience and hit downtown Dallas. But time restrictions required we hit closer to home. Point on the Lake was 10 minutes away. Curb appeal: (3 stars )Ambiance: (2 stars) - when you enter - you feel like you're entering a banquet room. But you are encouraged to sit wherever you like. Okay. Into the cozy bar I chose. Service: (4stars)- super friendly staff. So much so- that when we decided to sit outside- they brought an extra fan. And when friends phone hit 4% they supplied a charger. Now about the food. Onion ring. Cut fresh, cooked to order. 16 or 32 rings on a plate. $8? For 16? Idk. Five star for sure (5stars) Patty Melt $13 with FF again 5 stars we shared it and still nearly popped. Zero bad. Zero. Definitely recommend.

Honestly, the food and ambiance are great. The Point has been one of my favorite places for several years now and we've watched and supported them through the trials of covid, changes in management, cooks, menu, etc.But we way we were treated over our last visit is enough to keep us away for good. We were lead to believe we were buying beers during happy hour but if that was the case, they had to be $16 a glass at non-happy hour times. No longer a fan. It wasn't just a misunderstanding, it was a clear deception that our choice of beer wasn't included in the happy hour. We were told it was happy hour and not informed of any exclusions.Trying to rectify the bill became a chore and a follow up call to the manager produced only hostility. I won't say don't go, but BUYER BEWARE - insist on up-front pricing so you aren't deceived at check time.

Had a delicious dinner on the patio! Delicious nachos, and burgers! Holly was a wonderful server, she made us feel special. Great job The Point for a memorable fall evening with a great lake view!
