Beautiful modern-boho vibes at this local American restaurant serving up a variety of brunch favorites and excellent coffee.Vibe: The restaurant is spacious with high ceilings and tastefully decorated. It's a great space to have brunch and meet up with friends. There's also a cool seating/lounge area and bar.Service: Servers were great and fast, gave us some good info on the menu and recommendations.Food. We ordered the pink lady sandwich, salmon benedict, cowboy benedict, and ham and gruyere croffle. The croffle is essentially a croissant that has been pressed into a Waffle so you get the nice layered crunch of a croissant with the fluff and shape of a Waffle. The ham was tender, juicy, and savory and complemented well with the microgreens and melty gruyere cheese. There was also some sort of white sauce thing going on that was super good and brought everything together. The sunny side up egg on top was cooked to perfection, and the runny yolk coated the whole croffle nicely. Both benedict dishes had superbly cooked eggs and well executed hollandaise sauce, exactly what you look for. Bacon on the cowboy was smoked and flavorful, the Avocado was fresh. Smoked salmon on the salmon benedict held its own against the egg and hollandaise. Pink sandwich was solid, but we preferred the other dishes. All the ingredients were great quality and portions are large.Drinks: We ordered the cold brew coffee, iced matcha latte, and latte. The cold brew was very smooth, full bodied, chocolaty, and not very bitter as you would want in a cold brew. They use locally roasted beans from Tweed! The hot latte was also great. The iced matcha latte was fine, nothing special.Overall, the Nest Craft is a fantastic local spot to get great coffee and brunch, and we definitely recommend you give it a try! This place is Let's Eat Houston approved .

Stopped by The Nest Craft to get our Dallasites101 coffee passports stamped. Parking was convenient, with a garage right across the street. The café has plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, and the open-seating setup allows for an easy and relaxed atmosphere.Unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to expectations. I ordered the Winnie the Pooh latte, but the coffee quality was disappointing--it tasted more like something from a fast-food chain, the extraction of the espresso tasted a bit like dirt (likely prepared incorrectly and the milk was not steamed long enough - the coffee was lukewarm), despite the café using proper espresso equipment. To top it off, the staff served our drinks in to-go cups, even though we were clearly dining in, which took away from the experience.Overall, it was a letdown, and I likely won't be returning.

Not a good experience here. Service was very slow, I had to walk up to the bar every time I needed something (to get a menu, order, get check, etc). The coffee was delivered to the table lukewarm temp. The soup was delivered to the table mildly hot, but it had clearly been sitting out as the top of the soup bowl had cooled and congealed into a layer on the top. Also, the menu is inaccurate. Ex. The veggie burger says it comes with avocado and a side of salad or fries. I ordered the burger with everything on it, and the salad option (no fries). They served it with fries (no salad) and the burger was missing avocado. When I asked, they said it doesn't come with avocado and that the "salad" was the lettuce on the burger. Made zero sense. The staff didn't seem to be familiar with their own menu. Place was stuffy inside. I'm sure there are other better dining options in this area.

Glad I finally got to check this spot out. It's a bit hidden away if you don't know about it, but once you find it, it's actually quite a cute little spot for brunch or coffee. Parking is in the garage located in front, so that makes it nice and easy. The place was initially kind of empty, but got filled up quickly. The service this Saturday was not great, as they were highly understaffed for being a weekend morning. So that made my experience not so great. The two servers were not only working the tables, but also helping the barista behind the bar. So I wasn't even able to get my water and coffee until almost the end of my meal. Luckily my server comped me for the coffee as a result without even having to ask, so I appreciated that. I am hoping it was an off day though, so I still would give it 3 stars based on the place itself and the food was delicious. I got the breakfast burrito which was okay, nothing spectacular. I also ordered the butter beer coffee but I don't think that's what I got. It tasted like a basic latte even though it was supposed to have had Irish cream in it. But at this point I just drank it since it was already free and my meal was over. The place has potential, as the decor and menu aren't too bad. Really need to work on the service however to really thrive. Definitely want to give it another shot to see if the service was a fluke, because their menu definitely has some other items I want to try.

Came in around 2 today. They were clearly cleaning up from the brunch rush, understandable. We sat at the bar and ordered 2 cocktails and a truffle fry. It took 20 minutes to get our drinks because the server/ bartender didn't know how to make the cocktails on their menu. They had to look up the recipe in a binder and they still were not made correctly. Mine was not made with the correct gin it stated on the menu even thought we could see they had it. My drink was also warm because it was not shaken or stirred with any ice. My boyfriend's drink was also not made with the correct liquors and he was asked what type of bourbon he wanted and presented with two options that weren't bourbon. The fries were good but we were not given silverware or napkins til we asked for them. I would not recommend this place they clearly need a lot of training for their staff

This is in a business plaza with free parking. We had to walk down an alley/hallway to get to the entrance. It wasn't busy so we got a table right away. The interior is retro and comfy with lots of windows. The service was good, our waiter was great for recommendations and checking in at various points. The food was decent. I liked the gluten free toast and the latter. The potatoes were seasoned with something I can't quite figure out but was salty. The hollandaise sauce was a little frothy for me.

Came for my coffee passport! Service was excellent and wish I tried the food. Liked but didn't love. Iced latte, can't even remember the flavor but not sure if I'd go out of my way again.

I've been to a lot of Dallas brunches, but I've never walked away so eager to come back as I did leaving The Nest. I know it's a tiny little place in a hidden courtyard in a not-so-hip part of town, but this is the best brunch in Dallas right now. Yep. Seriously.Ambiance is fine; they're not "doin' it for the gram," but I respect that because they're clearly serious about one thing. The most important thing. The food. All of their energy is going toward food perfection, and it's paying off big time.Service was kind and attentive, not overly intrusive, but always there when we needed something. It feels like a homey, neighborhood secret type of spot, and it pretty much is. You'll be welcomed in casually but warmly. If you're the boozy brunch type, check out the Highway 1 for a delightfully spicy margarita. They don't mess around with mild, barely-there jalapeno flavor. The Day in Paris is delightful; not overly sweet or floral. A very refreshing and refined drink that avoids the common error of excessive amounts of lavender syrup. And if you need two kinds of buzz, they do a fantastic carajillo.Check it out. You won't regret it!

Recently, I met a friend here for brunch and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. To start with, the staff was very friendly. Upon arrival, I was greeted immediately by the hostess. Having arrived a little early for our reservation, we were instructed to have seat on one of the comfy sofas and they would come get us as soon as our table was ready. In a matter of minutes we were seated at our table. Almost immediately, the server approached us with water and took our drink order then gave us time to check out the menu for food. As for food, everything on the menu seemed delicious (based off the descriptions) and I wasn't sure what to order. After discussing with the server, she recommended the Nest Breakfast as I was super hungry and this was one of the larger choices plus it provided a bit more of a variety. I was glad I went with that as it was both delicious and filling. For beverages, they have a variety of coffees, lattes, and teas plus they have a full bar. They also have specialty cocktails which included a tasty Espresso Martini (I had a couple of those). Everything on the brunch/lunch menu seemed to be on the healthier-side which I was pleased to see. There is a separate menu that contains dinner/late night options (both food and drink). Seating consists of multiple tables/chair combos along with a few booth-style seating. There is also a bar which has seating. Additionally, they have some comfy sofas sectioned off in an area that are perfect if just having drinks. They also have a nice size patio, weather permitting. There is a shared garage for parking. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed The Nest Craft and will definitely return again.
