The Mucky Duck Bar

Wednesday night trivia is so much fun! The food is delicious and the drinks are great. My favorite is the chicken bacon ranch sandwich. The vibe laid back and casual. Cool place to unwind and have fun.

I don't eat out a lot anymore just because it has gotten so expensive! but I come here almost every week for taco Tuesday. The beef tacos are so good, and for $3.00 such a great deal! I've also come here on a Monday and got a chicken bacon ranch sandwich that came with a side of tots for $9.00 You can't beat the deals and the staff is always pleasant! I would definitely recommend.

I rate this place a 5/5 for many reasons. My review may be a little biased because my group of friends and I are regulars here but we all enjoy coming by the Mucky Duck. The bartenders are great and will remember you orders if you come through enough. Shout out to JJ who always helps us out when we are there. In terms of bar food their food is yummy! Definitely get some appetizers to share like the chicken totchos, loaded fries, chips and queso, black bean nachos, or even the pretzel. Everything pairs well with one of the many beers they have on tap. Main meal wise, they do pretty well too! I like the southwest chicken wrap and the bacon ranch chicken sandwich. Also if you are looking for a fun time with friends, come by on a Wednesday evening to take part in the 8pm trivia hosted by Joel! (Who is also the best). There are prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and last. We've won a few times over the last year or so!

This was a typical pub experience. I felt mildly sketched out, hard to say why, but all in all it was better than expected. We sat ourselves, uncertain if that was the way to do it, and it was pretty quiet on a Saturday night. They asked if we wanted food or just drinks, and we opted for a food menu. There was no beverage menu. "We have pretty much anything you'd want," the waitress said. "What do you like?" This is a hard question for me to answer in a pub. Im not really a beer person and the menu usually inspires me. Thankfully, she listed off a Moscow Mule as a possibility, and that sounded good. I was certain it would be made with a heavy pour, and while it might have been, it didn't taste like it. It was well made. My husband doesn't drink, and I think he got an unsweetened iced tea. We ordered some wings and tater tots. The waitress helped us decide on flavors of wing sauces (mango habanero and lemon pepper). They were both good. My husband loved the tater tots, but he's doing the keto thing and only at a literal two. After eating all the rest myself, I can say they taste good, but they're more oil than potato. I think if you're just looking for a beer and a place to watch sports, this is your jam.

One thing that really bugs me about restaurants is that they keep pictures from years ago that are no longer relevant. Mucky Duck has great reviews, but much of the food that they are showing no longer exists on the menu. There were four of us and we tried the chicken tachos, the burger, and the tacos. The food was good, the chicken tachos are supposedly a very popular dish but the flavor was missing something and the boneless chicken wings were not great. The service was excellent and ambience is fun, they only had one person serving the whole place and she was killing it, so kudos to her. Maybe most of the reviews are for their drinks and ambience, the food was 3 star.

We went for trivia night with a group. Great vibe. One of the bartenders, taller blond, definitely had an attitude problem. Every time we ordered something she would roll her eyes. When she brought the drinks over she slammed them down, spilling some of it. We thought maybe it was just our group but she treated everyone seated at the bar the same as well. I'm pretty sure everyone in the reviews are talking about the same bartender.Great fries. Chicken tenders were very burnt.

I'm impressed with how faithfully this place met my expectations...and didn't, in all the best ways.Atmosphere It looks like a dive in the middle of suburban America. It could be if it didn't exceed the spirt of an Irish pub. From the first door you enter, it was very thoughtful about every inch of then space.FoodIt's unfortunate the food is not great, as it's a super convenient option. The meal selection is basically a burger or sandwich. Neither is anything to write home about...or write a great review for.ServiceThis depends on your expectations and preference. The waitress act like they're too busy to care, even when you're the only two people there. There's an indifference to taking your order or delivering food.I would say 1 star because it's significantly below expectations but, the service may be exactly what you're looking for. Like an Uber driver that talks too much.

If you love passive aggressive bartenders, stale chips, swarming fruit flies and a boring atmosphere, this is your go to place! I went there during my last visit to Dallas with two friends, and the bar tender Jessica came in with a bad attitude. She decided to throw us out for no reason, because she apparently didn't want to be at work that day. We spoke with the manager, and she said she had to close out our tab because it was easier to have us leave than to lose her only bar tender. This seems like a bad way to run a business, and we definitely won't be back anytime soon!

I came for trivia night and had a lot of fun! The wait staff was very courteous and attentive, and I never had to think about drinks or food (more brain space for trivia!).However, I was extremely disappointed that none of the indoor tables are wheelchair-accessible. As a wheelchair user, the experience would have been much more inclusive and fun if I hadn't had to transfer to a high-top chair.

Christina and JJ are the BOMB! Very nice atmosphere and everyone was friendly!To the guy that wrote the bad review about the I.D...... YOU SHOULD HAVE GONE TO JAIL PRICK.
