From its location in the Design District (not the posh area, the abandoned warehouse-riddled area) to its aesthetic usage of subtle green color inside and out, to its small intimate size, The Green Zone is precisely where I'd wish to experience theater. The prices are reasonable, even more so as a student (and even MORE more so if you go early on weeknights for "pay what you can"). They also have a mini fridge stocked with decent beer and other drinks available for a small "suggested donation".It seems geared towards small casts, one acts, and minimalist production (based, though, solely on one play and skimming future billings). I'm definitely interested in coming back next year for future productions.
