The ambiance is great, with trendy decor and cozy, dim lighting--definitely a great spot for a date night. The outdoor area is also nice, featuring disc golf, cornhole, and a pleasant view of a tree grove. The food is good, upscale pub food. They have an Oklahoma Onion Burger!!! The service is very laid back, this means when you seat yourself it might take a while for them to even notice you.

The burger was fantastic--juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. When I couldn't decide between fries or tots, my server recommended the tots, and they were amazing--crispy and easily some of the best I've ever had! The only downside was the smell of tobacco drifting in from next door, which took away from the experience slightly. Otherwise, this spot delivered great food and friendly recommendations!

Upon crossing the threshold of Elwood BFD, my wife and I, famished and eager for a culinary reprieve, were immediately enveloped in the warm embrace of hospitality. A staff member, swift and spirited, greeted us with a smile as radiant as the morning sun, bestowing upon us menus that promised a feast fit for royalty. With a flourish, they expertly navigated us through the myriad of delectable choices, setting the stage for an evening of delicious delight. As anticipation danced in our bellies, we embarked on our journey with appetizers that sang of tradition and innovation in equal measure. The bruschetta, a mosaic of ripe tomatoes atop a golden canvas of toasted bread, was a masterpiece of simplicity and flavor. The deviled eggs, oh those morsels of pure indulgence, were nothing short of divine--a symphony of creamy, savory notes that played a rhapsody on our taste buds. And they had bacon... need I say more? With our appetites whetted and our expectations soaring, we ventured forth to the main event. I, with a carnivore's resolve, chose the steak--a testament to the chef's prowess, each slice was a tender testament to the art of grilling. My wife, with an eye for the classic, selected the steak sandwich, a harmonious blend of succulent meat and artisan bread that transformed the humble sandwich into an object of desire. The food, oh the food, was nothing short of sublime. Each bite was a revelation, a moment of pure, unadulterated joy that lingered long after the last morsel was savored. The sanctuary of Elwood was pristine, a tableau of cleanliness that spoke volumes of the care and attention to detail that the establishment upheld.Service, that invisible thread that weaves together the tapestry of dining out, was good. While our waitress was not super friendly, she she moved with a grace that ensured our every need was met with a seamless efficiency that only added to the evening's enchantment. The ambiance of Elwood was a gentle cocoon, a haven from the cacophony of the outside world. The murmur of conversation and clinking of cutlery provided a soothing soundtrack that allowed for intimate conversation and a shared experience that was both comforting and invigorating. In conclusion, Elwood is great addition to the area, it's a place where the alchemy of flavor and fellowship is practiced with a deft hand. It stands as a beacon for those in search of a meal that satisfies--a great place to dine, to talk, and to bask in the simple pleasure of good company and great food.

The service is the best part of this place! Great service at the bar! The ambiance was solid very fresh. They had a decent beer menu, too! The food was..... ok. Their chips were cheap store bought. We shared the BBQ pork was fatty and low on flavor! The tacos were OK, but the tortilla was low grade! The queso was decent, but again, chips were nooooooooo. I did mention the great service!

Cool, upscale vibes bar with gastropub level eats! A decent craft beer selection and some craft cocktails to put you in a great mood. I'd say self-medicate but I'm not a doctor, I just pretend I play one TV. Call me McDrinkie!! Anyway I had an amazing shrimp n grits because I needed some comfort food and a blankie after a Urologist did some gritty things to my virgin prostate. I would have cried in my cocktail if I didn't suck three down faster than you can say "Be Gentle!" to a Urologist. I had The Walker : Bingham's Bourbon, Amaretto, Lemon juice , and a smashed Luxardo Cherry [smashed kind of as a reminder of what that mean man did to my prostate], but after 3 I was feeling no pain which was a good thing b/c I wasn't allowed any NSAIDS for a week prior. The place was dimly lit to help hide my shame. Dear Mr & Mrs Elwood BFD keep a seat warm for me, I'll be back!! OH also I got the Brussels Sprouts and Oklahoma Smash Burger to go--the food and drinks were ALL ON POINT.

My cousin and I were looking to grab a quick drink and some bites on a Friday night and we just so happened to see The Elwood. The place looked really laid back and there wasn't a crowd (which was a plus). We sat at the bar and ordered the nachos, bread pudding and a couple of cocktails. I can't remember the names of the drinks, but they were okay. The nachos were different but in a good way (really good flavor)! The bread pudding wasn't like what you'd get in New Orleans but it was still enjoyable.

We came in today around noon after church and it had been a while. We had been several times when they opened and it was good. Great service, food.We walked in today and there was someone behind the bar, and someone at the bar. That's it, and us. It's seat yourself, so we came in, no greeting at all. The bartender and patron (maybe they were friends) were involved in a lengthy conversation about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce so maybe they didn't notice us. After a little while, someone came over and asked if we wanted drinks. Not sure his name because he didn't say, just asked about drinks. I think maybe he smiled once at the end, but seemed like he didn't really want to be there. Food was good but unremarkable. Too many places now to choose from locally to feel like we are doing them a favor by coming in. Wish them well, but doubt we'll be back.

Watch how you pay here. My husband and I enjoyed a nice lunch date here. However, 5 days later my card was charged $500 by Southwest Airlines. Kinda the coinkidink when it was the first and only time I used this particular card. I gave a good tip too. Sooooo annoying.
